              COMPETITION RULES for COCA-COLA® SASOL PROMOTIONAL 2018

 

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and its agencies (“Promoter”).

 

2. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document or  valid South African driver’s license or a valid Passport with the endorsed residence permit (“Participant/s/Entrant/s”), except any minor employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls, or is controlled by, the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by The Coca-Cola Company – or its  agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).

 

3. The Competition is only valid within South Africa.  Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a Winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the first draw.  

 

4. By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision.  The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

 

5. The Trip Prize Winner and their Travel Partners must be available to travel together to their winning destination of choice between February 2019 – December 2019 (“Travel Dates”). Should the Winner be unavailable to take up the Trip Prize on the Travel Dates, provided and determined by Promoters, the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize. In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

6. Should the Winner of a Trip Prize wish to make any changes in any way whatsoever, to the Trip Prize, other than what will be arranged by the Promoter, including Travel Dates and the number of Travel Partners, such costs, charges, expenses or any such adaptations or variations to the Trip Prize, will be on the Winner’s own account.

 

7. The Competition commences on 13 December 2018 and ends on 23 January 2019 both days inclusive.

 

8. The prizes (“Prizes”) includes the following:

 

a. 1 (one) of 3 family trips (4 pax) to Mauritius

 

9. To stand a chance of winning any of the Prizes listed in clause 6a Participants must purchase any 2 of the following products: any Coca-Cola Sparkling, 750ml Bonaqua Pump, and 500ml Powerade) (“Participating Product”);

 

 

a. Dial *120*32682# from a registered prepaid cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant; and

b. Follow the text prompts to complete their entry;

c. Retain their till slip as proof of purchase.

(hereinafter referred to as an “Entry”). One entry per till slip number.

10. Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds (“USSD time-out”). If a Participant successfully enters their Code before the USSD time- out, their Entry will be considered valid.

11. All Prize Winners will be determined by random automatic selection draw on the following draw dates: The Prizes draw will take place on the by no later than the 31st of January 2019.

12. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Competition period, provided that Participants complete the Competition entry steps set out in Rule 9 above each time

13. All winners will be chosen via random selector draw.

14. All Participants who send their Code in terms of Rule 12 above, irrespective of whether they have won an Airtime Voucher Prize, are eligible to stand a chance to win the Trip Prize.

15. Trip Prize Rules

15.1  Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Trip Prize, for the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners, to the destination shown on the marketing material for the Sasol Summer Promotion. A Participant can only win 1 (one) Trip Prize and only one Trip Prize per household is allowed.

15.2 The Promoter will conduct a random, audited draw no later than the 31st of January 2019, from all the Entries received for the Duration. The Promoter will call the possible Winners and conduct a Competition verification process (“Verification Process”).

15.3  The Verification Process will consist of the following:

15.3.1 contacting the possible Winner and confirming the Winner, or in the case of a minor, parent or legal guardian, holds a valid South African Identity documents; and

15.3.2 the Winner will be required to fill in a Winner form and indemnity, which needs to be returned to the Promoter within 24 (twenty four) hours;

15.4 Travelling abroad:

15.4.1 In order to travel abroad, possible Winners may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partners valid passports (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process in terms of Rule 15.3 above. Should any Traveler not be in possession of a valid passport, possible Winner and their Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize.

15.4.2 Where applicable, the possible Winner and their Travel Partners’ passport must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the stipulated date of return from the Trip Prize destination, and must have 2 (two) blank/unstamped pages in the passport.

15.4.3 Clear passport copies must be emailed to the Promoter, to an e-mail address only provided by the Promoter, reflecting the photograph, name, passport number, date of issue and expiry date of the travelers. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification.

15.4.4 Travelers must also comply with any other travel requirements for entry into a destination country, including any inoculations at the Promoter’s expense, failing which the possible Winner and/or Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited their chosen Trip Prize.

15.4.5 The Trip Prize is for the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners only. As noted above, should a Minor be declared a Winner, the Minor will be required to be accompanied on the Trip Prize by their parent or legal guardian, and 2 other Travel Partners.

16. Participants, whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed as valid after the Verification Process, will be notified telephonically within 24 (twenty four) hours from receipt of valid documentation set out in Rules 15 above and after being declared a Winner. The validity of such documentation is at the Promoter’s discretion.

17. The Winner, or in the case of a minor, their parent or legal guardian, and their Travel Partners will be required to sign the Promoter’s indemnity forms. Should the Winner and/or Travel Partners refuse or fail to do so for any reason whatsoever, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize. In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

18. Travel, hotel reservations and events/excursions are subject to availability and may not be available on certain dates. Travel Dates may be varied and any or all amendments to Travel Dates will be at the Promoter’s discretion.

19. The Trip Prize includes travel costs to and from the chosen destination, including flight costs where applicable, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, hotel or bed and breakfast meals offered, and selected excursions, as determined by the Promoter.

20. No correspondence will be entered into as to the Promoter’s choice of airline, ticket class, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, all of which, including the length of stay, is at the Promoter’s discretion.

21. The Promoter will not be responsible for any other expenses, which the Winner and their Travel Partners may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of the Trip Prize whether foreseen or not.

22. Ancillary costs, including but not limited to, additional transport, additional meals outside of those paid by the Promoter, personal and incidental expenses, government taxes, management fees or other fees applicable are not the responsibility of the Promoter.

23. The Promoter will cover the Winner and Travel Partners’ basic travel insurance, the level of cover will be determined at the Promoter’s sole discretion. In the event that the Winner and/or Travel Partners wish to increase the level of insurance cover, this increase in cover will be at the Winner and/or Travel Partners’ sole cost and expense.

24. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any changes, substitution, withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of any part of the itinerary beyond its reasonable control. The Promoter is not obliged to award any other prizes in lieu if any such event or aspect of the trip is cancelled, postponed, substituted, withdrawn, changed or unavailable.

25. All Prize Winners and their Travel Partners are obliged to behave responsibly at all times and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents. In the event that the prize Winner and/or Travel Partners acts in any manner that brings The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoter, its affiliates and/or associated companies’ name into disrepute at any time (including but not limited to display or publicize any political slogans, child pornography, or use homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights), the Promoter or its agent shall, at its sole discretion and without any form of compensation to the Winner and their Travel Partners, and without limitation to any other claim the Promoter may have under law; arrange for the Winner and their Travel Partners return to the Provinces of Residence in South Africa.

26.  If the Promoter is unable to reach any Trip Prize Winner after 3 (three) day from the date of being declared a Winner, or if a Trip Winner is a Minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a Trip Prize Winner fails the verification process after their Entry is drawn for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and Winner will take place.

27. All the Competition Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Prizes. The Promoter reserve the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

28. In addition to any other the verification requirements set out in these Rules, the Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification, as well as supply a copy of their valid Identity Document within 24 hours of being confirmed a Winner, to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Trip Prizes and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

29. The Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners and/or their Travel Partners to be identified and photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Trip Prize and/or after having received their Trip Prize. The Winners and/or their Travel Partners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

30. Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only, and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

31. Competition entries are subject to the following conditions:

a.  All Entries from Disqualified Participants’ cell phone numbers will be rejected;

b. All Entries from Minor Participants who have not obtained the express consent from their parent or legal guardian, will be rejected;

c. No computer based entries will be accepted; and Any cell phone number that enters an incorrect Code 5 (five) times in succession will be blocked out of the competition for the entire Duration of the Competition (“Blocked Participants”). Blocked Participants have an opportunity to call the COLONYHQ Call Centre on 087 231 0128 between 09h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday should there be a valid reason, which is acceptable by Promoter, for the Blocked Participants entering an incorrect Code five (5) times in succession.

32. Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

33. All Participants and the Winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes.

34. By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participant via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities. The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the Participant as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca- cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country.

35. By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.

36. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

COCA-COLA® SUMMER 2018 PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and its agencies (the “Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa, over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and a valid South African passport. Any person who is under the age of 18 (eighteen) years (“a Minor”) must obtain their parent or legal guardian’s express consent, in order to enter and qualify as a participant of the Competition (together referred to as “Participant/s/Entrant/s”).

3. Any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or any person, directly or indirectly, who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person, indirectly or directly, in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies, is disqualified from participating in this Competition. (“Disqualified Participants”).

4. Participants who are Minors, must have obtained the prior express consent of their parent and/or legal guardian, and the parent and/or legal guardian must have read and accepted these Rules, prior to the Minor participating in the Competition. Should a Minor Participant be declared a Winner of the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian must comply with the Competition Rules, as if they were the winner.

5. The Competition is only valid within South Africa. Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions.

7. The Competition commences on 1 November 2018 and ends on 31 January 2019, both days inclusive (the “Duration”).

8.  Participants stand a chance of winning the following prizes:

8.1 R5 (five rand) airtime vouchers (“Airtime Voucher Prize/s”), for pre-paid cellular account holders only. The total value of the R5 airtime vouchers on offer is R9 889 065 (nine million eight hundred and eighty nine thousand and sixty five rand).

9. To stand a chance of winning a R5 Airtime Voucher Prize, Participants must purchase any Coke Original Taste, Coke Light, Coke Life, Coke Zero Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Stoney, in pack sizes 2L; 1.5L, 500ml; 440ml, 330ml and 300ml PET, or 440 ml, 400ml, 330ml, 300ml and 200ml cans, 1.25L returnable glass bottle, any Powerade RTD or Powerade Zero (“Participating Product”).

9.1 Participants must look under the yellow can tab or yellow cap liner for their 13 (thirteen) or 14 (fourteen) digit unique code (“Code”);

9.2 Dial *120*2653# from a registered cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been 

RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant or a Minor Participant’s parent or legal guardian; and

9.3 Follow the text prompts to complete their entry;

 (hereinafter referred to as an “Entry/ies”).

12. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Duration, provided they purchase a Participating Product for each Entry in terms of Rule 9 above and complete all the Entry steps set out in Rule 9.1 to 9.3 above.

13. Airtime Voucher Prizes Rules

13.1 Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize across all Mobile Networks per Entry, as required in rule 9 above.

13.2 Where an Entry is randomly drawn as a Winner of 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize, the cellphone number used to enter the Competition, will be automatically loaded with the Airtime Voucher Prize.

13.3 Due to the random nature of the draw, of the Airtime Voucher Prize distribution and the USSD time-out, it is possible that not all Airtime Voucher Prizes will be awarded.

14. All Competition Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

15. Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

COMPETITION RULES for COCA-COLA® ENGEN WEBER BRAAI PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES 2018

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and its agencies (“Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document or  valid South African driver’s license or a valid Passport with the endorsed residence permit (“Participant/s/Entrant/s”), except any minor employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls, or is controlled by, the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by The Coca-Cola Company – or its  agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).

b. Follow the text prompts to complete their entry;

11. WEBER BRAAI PRIZES

a. Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Prize per household.

b. The Promoter will call the possible finalists on the cellphone number used to enter the Competition.  The possible finalist will be called once a day for 3 (three) days and if the Promoter is not able to contact the possible finalist during this time, the Promoter will move onto the next possible Winner.

c. The possible finalist will need to be verified and provide the Promoter with a certified copy of their South African ID/or valid Passport with their endorsed residences permit and complete a finalist form. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification. The requested documents need to be sent within 24 (twenty four) hours if not done the finalist will be disqualified and the Promoter will move onto the next possible finalist.

d. If the possible finalists pass the verification process and submits the required documents stipulated in rule 11c above, they will be declared a Winner by the Promoter. The validity of such documentation is at the Promoter’s discretion.

e. The Prize will be couriered to the Winner’s chosen’s physical address within South Africa within 14 (fourteen) working days from being declared a Winner.

f. The Promoter will deliver within 2 (two) attempts and if the delivery fails the Prize will be returned to the Promoter and the Winner will need to arrange for collection at their own cost, within 5 (five) working days. If the Winner fails to collect the Prize, at their own cost, or fails to personally take up delivery of the Prize under clause 11e above, the Winner will then forfeit the Prize and the Promotor will move to the next finalist.

g. The Prize cannot be exchanged for any other model, and the Winner does not have the right to change the colour and/or specifications of the Prize.

h. The Prize does not include any extras nor any accessories.

i. All Prizes are awarded at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right, at its own discretion, to substitute a Prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value or an appropriate replacement value in the place of the Prize.

j. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Prize.

k. No liability shall attach to the Promoter in relation to any claims, losses or liabilities for any loss of profit or any other direct and/or indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of any of the Prizes. The Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prizes. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to, the Prizes will pass to the Winner immediately upon delivery.

16. Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

Please note that the times and schedules may be subject to change at SABC’s discretion as the official free to air South African broadcaster of the FIFA World Cup™, Russia 2018.

b. The tweet/s must  include their original “Selfie” Picture/image of their match score prediction using the participating Coca-Cola products/ packaging.

c. If a tweet/s does not include the original “Selfie” picute/ image of the match score prediction using the participating Coca-Coal products/packaging, the tweet/e will not be considered a valid entry.

d. The tweet/s must have been sent by the first 10 minutes of the first half of the applicable game/s on the scheduled day (See Appendix 1).

e. be a South African citizen/permanent resident with a valid Identity Document and Bank Account.

f. Use the campaign hashtag #CokeScoreChallenge in their Twitter post: and

g. Tag @Coca-Cola_ZA in their post.

(“Entry/ies”)

10. All scores at the end of full time of regular play and any extra time will be considered to be final scores (“Final Match Score/s”). No additional penalty shoot-out scores will be considered for the random draw.

11. All Entries will be reviewed by the Promoter who will short-list the valid entries. The Promoter will then –

a. Select only the correctly predicted scores Final Match Score/s;

b.  conduct a random draw to select the daily winner the day after the match/s;

c. contact the possible winner and conduct a Competition verification process (“Verification Process”).

12. If no correct score predication are made on the match/es day, there will be no winner.

13. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The winners will be notified via a direct message on Twitter.

15. Once the possible winner is notified via direct message on Twitter, they will have 24 (twenty four) hours to respond to the winner notification and provide a valid contact number and their ID number for initial verification purposes. If any possible winner fails to respond within 24 (twenty four) hours, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner.

16. Once the possible winner has provided a valid contact number, the Promoter will attempt to contact them by telephone by calling them 3 (three) times in a communicated period of 1 (one) hour).  If any possible winner fails to answer after the 3 (three) attempts, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner.

17. In order for the particular Entries to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible winner and conduct a Competition verification process. The Promoter will request for the winner to send a valid copy of their ID or drivers licence. Participants, whose entries have been selected and have been confirmed as valid after the verification process, will be notified by telephone and announced on social media (Twitter = CocaCola_ZA).

18. The winners will be required to securely send/provide their banking details to the Promoter ONLY, in order for the promoter to deposit their winning Prize.  The following is important to note:

· the winner must provide to the Promoter ONLY valid proof of banking, in their own name and no older than three months;

· winners will be awarded their funds via an electronic funds transfer (EFT) to their nominated bank account with 14 business days of being confirmed a winner;

· A confirmation SMS will be sent to the winners once the transfer of their Prize funds has been completed.

19. Owners of unregistered SIM card/Cellular numbers bear and accept the risk that their SIM Card/Cellular number may be lost or stolen, and used to claim a Prize by an unauthorised person.

20. In the event that a winning Entry for any of the Prizes, belongs to a Minor, their parent or legal guardian must accept and/or be present in order to claim their Prize.

21. Participants may enter the Competition subject to the following:

28. By entering the Competition, the participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities.  The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the participants as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za  and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country, provided that the participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communications as any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose

29. The Promoter may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such a winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

30. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with Twitter.  Participants voluntarily provide their information to the Promoters and not to Twitter however the Participants are required to take note of the following:

a. As this Competition requires Participants to comment/post anything in relation to the relevant Twitter social platform, Participants’ comments/posts must be original and written by them.  For the purposes of these Rules, “comment/post” includes but is not limited to, any written material or visual or audio material such as an image, a photograph, a sound or visual clip. Participants may not use someone else’s post or work as their post. Participants may not comment/post material that is derogatory or harmful to the Promoter or the social platforms or any other person.

b. Participants may not misuse the social media platforms, or the Coca-Cola brand or Competition in any way. This includes posting content for commercial purposes or distributing spam or malicious code or using the site to collect the personal data or content of other users or direct visitors to other sites or pages.

c. Posts must not contain any content that is normally prohibited on the relevant social platforms such as explicit or offensive content.

d. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to decide if Participants actions constitute any of the actions prohibited in terms of these Rules and to end their participation in the competition immediately and take appropriate legal action. The Promoter may also immediately remove any posts that they reasonably believe constitute any prohibited content without notice to the Participant.

e. Participants must comply with the terms & conditions and privacy policies of the social media platforms.

f. The Promoter is not responsible for the social media platforms. The Promoter cannot control how they operate, when or if they are available, or what content they carry. Even though the Promoter runs the Competition on the site, the Promoter does not endorse the third party, its site, its products, or services or any content on the site. FRESHSTOP COMPETITION RULES

1.      This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (Pty) Ltd (‘’Promoter’’).

2.      The Promotional Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and a valid passport, which must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the date of return from the Prize, and must have 3 (three) blank/unstamped pages in the passport (“Participant/s”).

3.      Any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies may not participate in this Competition (“Disqualified Persons”).

4.      By entering the Competition, all Participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules, which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

5.      The Competition commences on 01 April 2018 and ends on 15 May 2018 both days inclusive (“Duration”).

6.      Participants stand a chance to win a 7 (seven) night cruise for 2 (two) (hereinafter referred to as “the winner” and/or the “Travel Partner”) aboard the Serenade of the Seas (departing from Stockholm, Sweden) to the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ in Russia (“Prize”), valued at an estimated R100 000 (one hundred thousand rand).

7.      The Prize includes, but is not limited to the following, as detailed in Annexure A:

8.      Any additional travelling expenses are excluded from the Prize.

9.      Anyone person under the age of 21 years must be accompanied by an adult in the same cabin.

10.   To stand a chance of winning 1 (one) of the Prizes, Participants must purchase any 2 (two) Coke Org 440ml, Coke Zero 440ml, Coke Life440ml, Coke Light 440ml, Powerade 500ml, Powerade Zero 500ml (“Participating Products”) from any participating Caltex FreshStop store. The participant must retain their till slip and SMS the keyword “COCA-COLA” and the unique 5 digit till slip number to 32671 (“entry”).

11.   The Promoters will conduct a random draw from all the entries received to determine possible winners on 16 May 2018 (“Draw Date”). In order for a particular entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoters will call the possible winners and ensure that the qualifying criteria set out in paragraphs 2 and 11 above are met (“the verification process”).

12.   Participants, whose entries have been drawn and have been confirmed as valid after the verification process, will be notified telephonically within 1 (one) week from Draw Date and declared a winner and be provided details on how to claim their prize.

13.   In the event that a winning entry belongs to a minor, their parent or legal guardian must accept and/or be present in order to claim their prize.

14.   Participants may enter this Competition as many times as they wish provided they purchase the Participating Products and follow the entry mechanics set out in paragraph 11 above each time. However, participants are only eligible for 1 (one) Prize under this Competition and only 1 (one) winner per household is entitled to win a Prize.

15.   Participants may not enter this Competition or qualify to be a winner if they have won a competition promoted by Promoter within the past 6 (six) months.

16.   Entries which are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

17.   If the Promoter is unable to reach a winner after 1 (one) week from the date of being declared a winner, or if a winner is a minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a winner fails the verification process after drawing his/her entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take.

18.   The winner and their travel partner must be available to travel together from the 29th of June 2018 till 9th of July 2018 (“Travel Dates”). Should the winner be unavailable to take up the Prize on the Travel Dates, provided and determined by Promoters, the winner and their travel partner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize. In such event the Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

19.   Should a winner of a Prize wish to make any changes in any way whatsoever, to the Prize, other than what will be arranged by the Promoters, including Travel Dates and the number of travel partner, such costs, charges, expenses or any such adaptations or variations to the prize, will be on the winner’s own account.

20.   Schengen Visa Requirements:

22.   Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

23.   The Winner, or in the case of a Minor, their parent or legal guardian, and their travel partner will be required to sign the Promoter’s Winner and indemnity forms, which forms need to be returned fully completed and signed, to the Promoter within 24 (twenty-four) hours.  Should the Winner and/or any travel partner refuse or fail to do so for any reason whatsoever, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize. In such event the Prize will revert back to the Promoter and a substitute winner will be drawn.

24.   All Prize winners and their travel partner are obliged to behave responsibly at all times and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoters and its agents. In the event that the prize winner and/or travel partner acts in any manner that brings The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoters, their affiliates and/or associated companies’ name into disrepute at any time (including but not limited to display or publicize any political slogans, child pornography, or use homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights), the Promoters or their agent shall, at its sole discretion and without any form of compensation to the winner and their travel partner, and without limitation to any other claim the Promoter may have under law; arrange for the winner and their travel partner return to the Western Province.

25.   All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Promotional Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter and/or use of the Prizes).

26.   The Promoter may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoters to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. COCA-COLA® FIFA WORLD CUP™ RUSSIA 2018 PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES

1.             This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and its agencies (the “Promoter”).

2.             The Competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa, over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and a valid South African passport. Any person who is under the age of 18 (eighteen) years (“a Minor”) must obtain their parent or legal guardian’s express consent, in order to enter and qualify as a participant of the Competition (together referred to as “Participant/s/Entrant/s”).

3.             Any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or any person, directly or indirectly, who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person, indirectly or directly, in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies, is disqualified from participating in this Competition. (“Disqualified Participants”).

4.             Participants who are Minors, must have obtained the prior express consent of their parent and/or legal guardian, and the parent and/or legal guardian must have read and accepted these Rules, prior to the Minor participating in the Competition. Should a Minor Participant be declared a Winner of the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian must comply with the Competition Rules, as if they were the winner.

5.             Any Minor travelling overseas as a Winner of a Trip Prize, will be required to be accompanied on the Trip Prize by their legal guardian or parent. In order to redeem the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian will be required to familiarize themselves and comply with the Immigration Regulations of 2014 (the “Regulations”). In terms of the Regulations, a parent or legal guardian travelling outside the borders of South Africa with a Minor, must meet certain requirements in order to travel internationally. 6.             The Competition is only valid within South Africa.  Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the first draw.

7.             By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners, including a parent or legal guardian of a Minor Participant, agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter or the Promoter’s nominated administrator, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision.  The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

9.2          100 000 (One hundred thousand) x R10 (ten rand) airtime vouchers to be won, for pre-paid cellular account holders only. The total value of the R10 airtime vouchers on offer is R1 000 000 (one million rand),

(collectively referred to as “Airtime Voucher Prize/s”);

9.3        20 000 (twenty thousand) Coca-Cola®/FIFA World Cup® Russia 2018 t-shirts to be won (“T-Shirt Prize/s”); and

9.4          1 (one) of 18 (eighteen) double trips to the FIFA World Cup, Russia 2018, to watch any 2 (two) Group Stage Matches only (“Trip Prize”), for you and 1 (one) travel partner (“Travel Partner”), worth an estimated value of R80 000 (eighty thousand rand).

10.        The Trip Prize Winner and their Travel Partner must be available to travel together to the Trip Prize between 16th June 2018 and 30 June 2018 (“Travel Dates”). Should the Winner be unavailable to take up the Trip Prize on the Travel Dates, provided and determined by Promoters, the Winner and their Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize.  In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

11.        Should the Winner of a Trip Prize wish to make any changes in any way whatsoever, to the Trip Prize, other than what will be arranged by the Promoter, including Travel Dates and the number of Travel Partners, such costs, charges, expenses or any such adaptations or variations to the Trip Prize, will be on the Winner’s own account.

12.        To stand a chance of winning any of the Prizes listed in clauses 9.1 to 9.4 above, Participants must purchase any Coke Original Taste, Coke Light, Coke Life, Coke Zero Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Stoney, in pack sizes 2L; 1.5L, 500ml; 440ml, 330ml and 300ml PET, or 440 ml, 330ml, 300ml and 200ml cans, 1.25L returnable glass bottle, any Powerade RTD or Powerade Zero (“Participating Product”).

12.1.     Participants must look under the green cap liner or the green can tab for their 13 (thirteen),or 12 (twelve) and/or 10 (ten) digit unique code (“Code”)

12.2      Dial *120*2653# from a registered cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant or a Minor Participant’s parent or legal guardian; and

12.3      Follow the text prompts to complete their entry.

13.        Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds (“USSD time-out”). If a Participant successfully enters their Code before the USSD time- out, their Entry will be considered valid.

14.        All Winners of Airtime Voucher Prize/s will be determined by random automatic selection between 15 April 2018 and 15 July 2018 and/or T-Shirt Prize/s will be determined by random automatic selection between 15 May 2018 and 15 July 2018, whilst Trip Prizes Winners will be drawn weekly from 23 April 2018 to 14th May 2018 (dates referred to as “Prize Duration/s).

15.        All Participants who send their Code in terms of Rule 12 above, irrespective of whether they have won an Airtime Voucher Prize/s or a T-Shirt Prize/s, are eligible to stand a chance to win a Trip Prize.

16.          Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over each Prize Duration set out in clause 14 above, provided they purchase a Participating Product for each Entry in terms of Rule 12 above and complete all the Entry steps set out in Rule 12.1 to 12.3 above.

17.       Airtime Voucher Prizes  and T-Shirt Prizes Rules

17.1        Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize across all Mobile Networks and/or 1 (one) T-shirt Prize per Entry, as required in clause 12 above.

17.2        Where an Entry is randomly drawn as a Winner of 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize, the cellphone number used to enter the Competition, will be automatically loaded with the Airtime Voucher Prize.

17.3        Due to the random nature of the draw, of the Airtime Voucher Prize distribution and the USSD time-out, it is possible that not all Airtime Voucher Prizes will be awarded.

17.4        T-shirt Prizes will be contacted telephonically once they have been verified and declared a winner. T-shirt Prizes will be couriered to the Winner’s chosen address within South Africa, within 14 (fourteen) workings days from being declared a Winner.

18.       Trip Prize Rules

18.1      The Promoter will conduct a random, audited, weekly draw, from all the Entries received for the Duration. The Promoter will contact the possible Winners and conduct a Competition verification process (“Verification Process”).

18.2     The Verification Process will consist of the following:

18.2.1  contacting the possible Winner and confirming that the Winner, or in the case of a winning Minor, confirming that the parent or legal guardian, holds a valid South African Identity documents; and

18.3.2  the Winner will be required to fill in a Winner form and indemnity, which needs to be returned to the Promoter within 24 (twenty-four) hours;

18.3     Travelling abroad:

18.3.1   Possible Winners and their Travel Partner stand a chance of spending up to 5 (five) days and 4 (four) nights in Russia.

18.3.2   In order to travel abroad, possible Winners may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partner’s valid passports (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process in terms of Rule 18.2 above. Should any Traveler not be in possession of a valid passport, possible Winner and their Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited their chosen Trip Prize.  The Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter and a substitute Winner will be drawn.

18.3.3   The possible Winner and their Travel Partner’s passports must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the stipulated date of return from the Trip Prize, and must have 3 (three) blank/unstamped pages in the passport.

18.3.4   Clear passport copies must be emailed to the Promoter, to an e-mail address only provided by the Promoter, reflecting the photograph, name, passport number, date of issue and expiry date of the travelers. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification.   

18.5       The Trip Prize is for the Winner and 1 (one) Travel Partner only.  As noted above, should a Minor be declared a Winner, the Minor will be required to be accompanied on the Trip Prize by their parent or legal guardian.

18.6       Participants, whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed as valid after the Verification Process, will be notified telephonically within 24 (twenty-four) hours from receipt of valid documentation set out in Rule 18.3.2 above and after being declared a valid Winner. The validity of such documentation is at the Promoter’s discretion.

18.7        The Winner, or in the case of a Minor, their parent or legal guardian, and their Travel Partner will be required to sign the Promoter’s Trip Prize Winner and indemnity forms, which forms need to be returned fully completed and signed, to the Promoter within 24 (twenty-four) hours.  Should the Winner and/or Travel Partner refuse or fail to do so for any reason whatsoever, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize. In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter and a substitute winner will be drawn.

18.8        Travel, hotel reservations and events/excursions are subject to availability and may not be available on certain dates. Travel Dates may be varied and any or all amendments to Travel Dates will be at the Promoter’s discretion.

18.9        The Trip Prize includes travel costs to and from Russia, including economy flight costs, double room sharing hotel accommodation, hotel meals offered, and selected excursions, as determined by the Promoter.

18.10      No correspondence will be entered into as to the Promoter’s choice of airline, ticket class, hotel accommodation, all of which, including the length of stay, is at the Promoter’s discretion.

18.11      The Promoter will not be responsible for any other expenses, which the Winner and their Travel Partner may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of the Trip Prize whether foreseen or not.

18.12      Ancillary costs, including but not limited to, additional transport, additional meals outside of those paid by the Promoter, personal and incidental expenses, government taxes, management fees or other fees applicable are not the responsibility of the Promoter.

18.13      The Promoter will cover the Winner and Travel Partner’ basic travel insurance, the level of cover will be determined at the Promoter’s sole discretion.  In the event that the Winner and/or Travel Partner wish to increase the level of insurance cover, this increase in cover will be at the Winner and/or Travel Partner’ sole cost and expense.

18.14      The Promoter shall not be responsible for any changes, substitution, withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of any part of the itinerary beyond its reasonable control.  The Promoter is not obliged to award any other prizes in lieu if any such event or aspect of the trip is cancelled, postponed, substituted, withdrawn, changed or unavailable.

18.16      If the Promoter is unable to reach any Trip Prize Winner after 3 (three) days from the date of being declared a Winner, or if a Trip Winner is a Minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a Trip Prize Winner fails the verification process after their Entry is drawn for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and Winner will take place.

19.          All the Competition Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Prizes.  The Promoter reserve the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

20.          The T-Shirt Prize is not for Sale or Re-Sale. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to, the T-shirt Prizes will pass to the Winner immediately.

21.          In addition to any other the verification requirements set out in these Rules, the Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification, as well as supply a copy of their valid Identity Document within 24 (twenty-four) hours of being confirmed a Winner, to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Trip Prizes and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

22.          The Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners and/or their Travel Partner to be identified and photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Trip Prize and/or after having received their Trip Prize.  The Winners and/or their Travel Partner will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

23.          Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only, and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

24.          Competition entries are subject to the following conditions:

  1.  
    • All Entries from Disqualified Participants’ cell phone numbers will be rejected;
    • All Entries from Minor Participants who have not obtained the express consent from their parent or legal guardian, will be rejected;
    • No computer based entries will be accepted; and
    • Any cell phone number that enters an incorrect Code 5 (five) times in succession will be locked out of the competition for the entire Duration of the Competition (“Blocked Participants”). Blocked Participants have an opportunity to call the COLONYHQ Call Centre on 087 231 0128 between 09h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday should there be a valid reason, which is acceptable by Promoter, for the Blocked Participants entering an incorrect Code five (5) times in succession.

25.          Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

26.          All Participants and the Winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes.

27.          By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participant via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities.  The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the Participant as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country.

28.          By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.

29.          Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

Official Rules

In addition, all Participants must be natural persons; no prize/s will be awarded to any legal entities.

5. Agreement to Official Rules. By entering the Promotional Competition, all Participants agree to be bound by these rules (“Official Rules”), which will be interpreted and applied by the Promoter or the Promoter’s nominated administrator, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. b. The Promoter does not accept any liability for any further and/or additional costs and/or expenses in relation to delivery of the Prize/s. Ancillary costs, including but not limited to, additional transport to and from the Event, any meals personal and incidental expenses are not the responsibility of the Promoter. The Promoter will not be responsible for any other expenses, which the Winner and their Travel Partners may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of the Prize whether foreseen or not. Participants must purchase any Share a Bag McDonalds meals (“Participating Product”) from these selected McDonalds and in Cape Town CAVENDISH, CLAREMONT, RONDEBOSCH, WYNBERG AND WETTON (“Participating Product”) (“Participating Stores”) during the Promotion Period.

b. Participants may enter the Promotional Competition as many times as they wish provided they purchase the Participating Products each time. However, Participants are only eligible for one Prize and one prize per household under this Promotional Competition.

c. Entries that are unclear or illegible will be disqualified.

9. Selection.Promotion is limited to the first 100 customers at each Participating Store, to purchase a Share a Bag meal, during the Promotion Period.  The selection of the winners are on a “first come first serve” basis.

10. 10 Requirements of Potential Winner/s. Potential winner/s of the Promotional Competition must continue to comply with the Official Rules.  Winning the Promotional Competition is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements of the Promotional Competition.

11. Publicity. The Promoter may require winners of the Promotional Competition to be identified and/or photographed and/or published in printed media and/or to appear on radio and/or television, when accepting the Prize/s and/or after having received the Prize/s. The winner/s of the Promotional Competition will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of his/her/their image/s and to participate in the Promoter’s marketing material in so far as it relates to the Promotional Competition.

12. General conditions. a. The Prize/s is/are not transferable, nor exchangeable, nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prize/s. No liability shall attach to the Promoter in relation to any claims, losses or liabilities for any loss of profit or any other direct and/or indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of any of the Prizes.  The Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prizes. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to the Prizes will pass to the winners immediately.

b. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize/s with any other prize/s of comparable commercial value or to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the Promotional Competition and any Prize/s (which have not yet been subject to selection), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time and for any reason whatsoever.

c. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Promotional Competition is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but, not limited to, fraud, virus or other technical problem, the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Promotional Competition to address the impairment and then resume it in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of the Official Rules; or (b) cancel the Promotional Competition and award the Prize/s in a random draw from all eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment, or if the FIFA Trophy Tour is cancelled for whatsoever reason, the Promotor reserves the right to cancel the Promotional Competition and any winners will have to forfeit their Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotional Competition or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules or the official rules of any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  Any attempt by any person/s to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotional Competition may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person/s to the fullest extent permitted by law.  

d. The Promoter's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

e. The Promoter will require the winner/s of the Promotional Competition to complete and submit a declaration form and prize acceptance form to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with

the Official Rules and the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 (including any regulations promulgated thereunder). Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this requirement for any reason, such winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize/s and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

f. Information collected from Participants shall be subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy found at www.ccbsaco.com.

13. Release and Limitation of Liability. Except where prohibited in law, Participants and/or the winner/s of the Promotional Competition, as the case may be, hereby indemnify the Promoter, its nominated administrator, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (Pty) Ltd together with all its subsidiaries and The Coca-Cola Company, as well as their directors, employees, affiliates, agents, advertising agencies, advisers, suppliers and customers against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever (including consequential and economic loss) arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in the Promotional Competition including, but not limited to: (a) any act or omission, whether as a result of gross negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise; (b) use of the Prize/s; (c) unauthorized human intervention in the Promotional Competition; (d) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, printers or telephone or network lines; (e) errors in the administration of the Promotional Competition or the processing of entries; and (f) injury or death or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the Participant’s participation in the Promotional Competition or receipt or misuse of any Prize/s. 7. To stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Weekly Themed Prize, Participants must comment/post on the Appletiser Facebook page relating to that week’s theme (“Entry”).

8. The Promoter will conduct a random draw from all the Entries received to determine the winners in the following manner:

8.1 A weekly draw every Monday, from the 20 November 2017 until the 31 January 2018, in order to determine the “Weekly Prize Winners” (“Weekly Draws”);

9. In order for a particular Entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will contact the potential winner via Facebook Direct Message to ensure that the qualifying criteria set out in paragraphs 2, 3, and 7 above are met (“the verification process”).

10. The Promoter’s’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. Participants may not enter this Competition or qualify to be a winner if they have previously won a Weekly Themed Prize, or if they have won a competition promoted by the Promoters within the past 6 (six) months.

12. Entries which are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism, or contain errors, or are unclear or illegible, or are received from Disqualified Participants will be declared invalid.

13. Participants whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed by the Promoter as valid after the verification process, will be notified via Facebook Direct Message.

14. In the event that a winning entry for any of the prizes to this Competition belongs to a minor, their parent or legal guardian must accept and/or be present in order to claim their prize.

15. If the Promoter is unable to reach a Weekly Prize Winner after 24 hours (twenty four) from the date of being selected as a potential winner, or if a Weekly Prize Winner is a minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a Weekly Prize Winner fails the verification process after drawing his/her Entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and winner will take place.

16. Weekly Prize winners will have their prizes delivered to them via Courier to a delivery address specifically provided by the winner to the Promoter.

17. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

18. No liability shall attach to the Promoter in relation to any claims, losses or liabilities for any loss of profit or any other direct and/or indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of any of the prizes.  The Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prizes. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to, the prizes will pass to you immediately.

19. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

20. All Participants and winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, it’s advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, partners, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter and/or use of the Prizes).

21. The Promoter may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such a winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

22. The Promoter may require the winners to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their prizes or after having received their prizes. The Promoter may also use the uploaded images in whole or in part, and any reproductions thereof, worldwide for advertising, promotion, publicity or otherwise on any website for any media purpose and for any other lawful purpose whatsoever. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoter’s marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

23. By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.

24. As this Competition requires Participants to comment/post anything in relation to the Weekly Themes on the Appletiser Facebook page, Participants’ comments/posts must be original and written by them.  For the purposes of these Rules, “comment/post” includes but is not limited to, any written material or visual or audio material such as an image, a photograph, a sound or visual clip. Participants may not use someone else’s post or work as their post. Participants may not comment/post material that is derogatory or harmful to the Promoter, the site, the Appletiser page or any other person.

25. Participants may not misuse the site, the Appletiser page or Competition in any way. This includes posting content for commercial purposes or distributing spam or malicious code or using the site to collect the personal data or content of other users or direct visitors to other sites or pages.

26. Posts must not contain any content that is normally prohibited on the site such as explicit or offensive content.

27. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to decide if Participants actions constitute any of the actions prohibited above and to end their participation in the competition immediately and take appropriate legal action. The Promoter may also immediately remove any posts that they reasonably believe constitute any prohibited content without notice to the Participant.   

28. Participants must comply with the terms & conditions and privacy policies of the site.

29. The Promoter is not responsible for the sites. The Promoter cannot control how they operate, when or if they are available, or what content they carry. Even though the Promoter runs the Competition on the site, the Promoter does not endorse the third party, its site, its products, or services or any content on the site. Participants use the site at their own risk. Participants must take all necessary measures to protect themselves and any minors, from risks, such as viruses and other destructive code.  

30. Participants must obtain at their own expense all equipment and services that are necessary to gain access to the site to take part in this Competition.

31. The Promoter can put in place such technical or other remedies it considers appropriate to prevent abuse, or to protect any sites or our systems or other users

32. If any Participant does not comply with these Rules,their posts can be deleted and they will not be allowed to access the site or take part in the Competition.

34. By posting any content, experiences, images on any social media platform, in relation to this Competition and its associated promotional activities, Participants consent and give the Promotor a world-wide, royalty free and non-exclusive license, to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish any content posted and/or submitted by a Participant on a social media site, for the purposes of promoting the products and services of the Promotor.

35. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, or any other social media platform. Participants provide their information to the Promoters and not to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, or any other social media platform.

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and its agencies (the “Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa, over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document. Any person who is under the age of 18 (eighteen) years (a “Minor”) must obtain their parent or legal guardian’s express consent, in order to enter and qualify as a participant for the Competition (together referred to as “Participants/Entrants”).

3. Any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or any person, directly or indirectly, who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person, indirectly or directly, in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Participants”).

4.  Participants who are Minors, must have obtained the prior express consent of their parent and/or legal guardian, and the parent and/or legal guardian must have read and accepted these Rules, prior to the Minor participating in the Competition. Should a Minor Participant be declared a Winner of the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian must comply with the Competition Rules, as if they were the winner.

5. Minor will be required to be accompanied on the Trip Prize by their legal guardian or parent. In order to redeem the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian will be required to familiarize themselves and comply with the Immigration Regulations of 2014 (the “Regulations”). In terms of the Regulations, a parent or legal guardian travelling outside the borders of South Africa with a Minor, must meet certain requirements in order to travel internationally. It is the responsibility of the parent and/or legal guardian to view and thereby acknowledge and understand the requirements set in the Regulations. 6. The Competition is only valid within South Africa.  Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the first draw. 

7. By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners, including a parent or legal guardian of a Minor Participant, agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision.  The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

8. The Competition commences on 1 November 2017 and ends on 31 January 2018, both days inclusive (the “Duration”). 

9. Participants stand a chance of winning the following prizes (“Prizes”):

9.1  R5 (five rand) airtime vouchers (“Airtime Voucher Prize”), for pre-paid cellular account holders only. The total value of the R5 airtime vouchers on offer is R5, 500 000 (five million five hundred thousand rand); and

9.2 1 (one) trip to any 1 (one) of the destinations shown on any Participating Product and included in Appendix A attached (“Trip Prize”), for you and 3 (three) travel partners (“Travel Partners”).

10. The Trip Prize Winner and their Travel Partners must be available to travel together to their winning destination of choice between 1 February 2018 and 31 July 2018 (“Travel Dates”). Should the Winner be unavailable to take up the Trip Prize on the Travel Dates, provided and determined by Promoters, the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize.  In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

11. Should the Winner of a Trip Prize wish to make any changes in any way whatsoever, to the Trip Prize, other than what will be arranged by the Promoter, including Travel Dates and the number of Travel Partners, such costs, charges, expenses or any such adaptations or variations to the Trip Prize, will be on the Winner’s own account

12. To stand a chance of winning  a R5 (five rand) Airtime Vouchers and/or 1 (one) Trip Prize, Participants must purchase any Coke Original Taste, Coke Light, Coke Life, Coke Zero Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Stoney, in pack sizes  2L; 1.5L, 500ml; 440ml, 330ml and 300ml PET, or 440 ml, 330ml, and 200ml cans, (“Participating Product”).

12.1. Participants must look under the cap liner or on the can tab for their 13 (thirteen) digit unique code (“Code”);

12.2  Dial *120*2653# from a registered cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant or a Minor Participant’s parent or legal guardian; and

12.3  Follow the text prompts to complete their entry.

(hereinafter referred to as an “Entry”).

13. Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds (“USSD time-out”). If a Participant successfully enters their Code before the USSD time- out, their Entry will be considered valid.

14. All Winners will be determined by random selection. 

15. All Participants who send their Code in terms of Rule 12 above, irrespective of whether they have won an Airtime Voucher Prize, are eligible to stand a chance to win the Trip Prize.

16. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Duration, provided they purchase a Participating Product for each Entry in terms of Rule 12 above and  complete all the Entry steps set out in Rule 12.1 to 12.3 above.

17. Airtime Voucher Prizes Rules

17.1 Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize per Entry, across all Mobile Networks.

17.2 Where an Entry is randomly drawn as a Winner of 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize, the cellphone number used to enter the Competition, will be automatically loaded with the Airtime Voucher Prize.

17.3 Due to the random nature of the draw, of the Airtime Voucher Prize distribution and the USSD time-out, it is possible that not all Airtime Voucher Prizes will be awarded.

18.  Trip Prize Rules

18.1 Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Trip Prize, for the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners, to any 1 (one) of the destinations shown on the purchased Participating Product.  A list of the destinations is set out in Appendix A. A Participant can only win 1 (one) Trip Prize and only one Trip Prize per household is allowed.

18.2 The Promoter will conduct a random, audited, weekly draw, from all the Entries received for the Duration. The Promoter will call the possible Winners and conduct a Competition verification process (“Verification Process”).

18.3 The Verification Process will consist of the following:

18.3.1 contacting the possible Winner and confirming the Winner, or in the case of a minor, parent or legal guardian, holds a valid South African Identity documents; and

18.3.2  the Winner will be required to fill in a Winner form and indemnity, which needs to be returned to the Promoter within 24 (twenty four) hours;

18.4   Travelling abroad:

18.4.1   Possible Winners and their Travel Partners stand a chance of spending up to 7 (seven) nights at their chosen destination.

18.4.2   In order to travel abroad, possible Winners may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partners valid passports (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process in terms of Rule 18.3 above. Should any Traveler not be in possession of a valid passport, possible Winner and their Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited their chosen Trip Prize and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1. 

18.4.3   Where applicable, the possible Winner and their Travel Partners’ passport must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the stipulated date of return from the Trip Prize destination, and must have 2 (two) blank/unstamped pages in the passport.

18.4.4   Where the destination country requires that a visitors to be in possession of a valid visa, the Travelers must be eligible for a visa to that destination country of choice and are required to disclose upfront any possible reason for Embassy rejection.  For the avoidance of doubt, should a possible Winner and/or any of their Travel Partners be refused a visa to travel to their destination of choice, such possible Winner and their Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited that chosen Trip Prize, and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1. 

18.4.4   Clear passport copies must be emailed to the Promoter, to an e-mail address only provided by the Promoter, reflecting the photograph, name, passport number, date of issue and expiry date of the travelers. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification, and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1. 

18.4.6   Travelers must also comply with any other travel requirements for entry into a destination country, including any inoculations at the Promoter’s expense, failing which the possible Winner and/or Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited their chosen Trip Prize and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1

18.5   Travelling within South Africa

18.5.1   Possible Winners and their Travel Partners stand a chance of spending 5 (five) nights at the chosen South African destinations.

18.5.2   Where the Trip Prize winning destination is within the borders of South Africa, the possible winner may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partners identification documents (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process in terms of Rule 18.3 above.

18.6  The Trip Prize is for the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners only.  As noted above, should a Minor be declared a Winner, the Minor will be required to be accompanied on the Trip Prize by their parent or legal guardian, and 2 other Travel Partners.

18.7  Participants, whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed as valid after the Verification Process, will be notified telephonically within 24 (twenty four) hours from receipt of valid documentation set out in Rules 18.4.2 and 18.5.2 above and after being declared a Winner. The validity of such documentation is at the Promoter’s discretion.

18.8  The Winner, or in the case of a minor, their parent or legal guardian, and their Travel Partners will be required to sign the Promoter’s indemnity forms.  Should the Winner and/or Travel Partners refuse or fail to do so for any reason whatsoever, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize. In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

18.9  Travel, hotel reservations and events/excursions are subject to availability and may not be available on certain dates. Travel Dates may be varied and any or all amendments to Travel Dates will be at the Promoter’s discretion.

18.10  The Trip Prize includes travel costs to and from the chosen destination, including flight costs where applicable, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, hotel or bed and breakfast meals offered, and selected excursions, as determined by the Promoter.

18.11  No correspondence will be entered into as to the Promoter’s choice of airline, ticket class, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, all of which, including the length of stay, is at the Promoter’s discretion

18.12  The Promoter will not be responsible for any other expenses, which the Winner and their Travel Partners may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of the Trip Prize whether foreseen or not. 

18.13  Ancillary costs, including but not limited to, additional transport, additional meals outside of those paid by the Promoter, personal and incidental expenses, government taxes, management fees or other fees applicable are not the responsibility of the Promoter. 

18.14  The Promoter will cover the Winner and Travel Partners’ basic travel insurance, the level of cover will be determined at the Promoter’s sole discretion.  In the event that the Winner and/or Travel Partners wish to increase the level of insurance cover, this increase in cover will be at the Winner and/or Travel Partners’ sole cost and expense.

18.15  The Promoter shall not be responsible for any changes, substitution, withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of any part of the itinerary beyond its reasonable control.  The Promoter is not obliged to award any other prizes in lieu if any such event or aspect of the trip is cancelled, postponed, substituted, withdrawn, changed or unavailable.

18.16  All Prize Winners and their Travel Partners are obliged to behave responsibly at all times and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents.  In the event that the prize Winner and/or Travel Partners acts in any manner that brings The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoter, its affiliates and/or associated companies’ name into disrepute at any time (including but not limited to display or publicize any political slogans, child pornography, or use homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights), the Promoter or its agent shall, at its sole discretion and without any form of compensation to the Winner and their Travel Partners, and without limitation to any other claim the Promoter may have under law;  arrange for the Winner and their Travel Partners return to the Provinces of Residence in South Africa.

18.17  If the Promoter is unable to reach any Trip Prize Winner after 3 (three) day from the date of being declared a Winner, or if a Trip Winner is a Minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a Trip Prize Winner fails the verification process after their Entry is drawn for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and Winner will take place.

19. All the Competition Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Prizes.  The Promoter reserve the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

20. In addition to any other the verification requirements set out in these Rules, the Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification, as well as supply a copy of their valid Identity Document within 24 hours of being confirmed a Winner, to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Trip Prizes and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

21. The Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners and/or their Travel Partners to be identified and photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Trip Prize and/or after having received their Trip Prize.  The Winners and/or their Travel Partners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

22. Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only, and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

23. Competition entries are subject to the following conditions:

  • All Entries from Disqualified Participants’ cell phone numbers will be rejected;
  • All Entries from Minor Participants who have not obtained the express consent from their parent or legal guardian, will be rejected;
  • No computer based entries will be accepted; and
  • Any cell phone number that enters an incorrect Code 5 (five) times in succession will be locked out of the competition for the entire Duration of the Competition (“Blocked Participants”). Blocked Participants have an opportunity to call the COLONYHQ Call Centre on 087 231 0128 between 09h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday should there be a valid reason, which is acceptable by Promoter, for the Blocked Participants entering an incorrect Code five (5) times in succession.

24. Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

25. All Participants and the Winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes.

26. By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participant via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities.  The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the Participant as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country.

27. By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.

28. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

5. The Competition commences on 06 November 2017 and ends on 31 January 2018, both days inclusive (“the Duration”).

6. Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) of 1100 (one thousand one hundred) weekly prizes and/or 1 (one) of 6 (six) grand prizes.

6.1  Weekly prizes are made up of:

6.1.1       200 (two hundred) Shower Speakers;

6.1.2       500 (five hundred) Just Juice Tumblers;

6.1.3       200 (two hundred) Instax Cameras;

6.1.4       200 (two hundred) Breakfast Boxes consisting of 1 (one) Just Juice, 1 (one) Just Juice tumbler as well as some delicious breakfast treats.

         (hereinafter referred to as “Weekly Prize/s”).

6.2  The 6 (six) grand prizes are made up of 1 (one) Breakfast experience away, accompanied by 3 (three) travel experience partners (“travel partner/s”), to the value of R50 000 (fifty thousand rand) each (hereinafter referred to as “Grand Prize/s”). The Grand Prizes will take the winners away to a one of a kind breakfast experience, to mystery destinations in South Africa. Travel expenses to and from to each mystery destination will be paid by the Promotor. Each winner of a Grand Prize, and their travel partners, will be informed of their travel arrangements and when they must take up their prize by the Promotor, and will be required to sign a prize and travel indemnity.

7. To stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Weekly Prize or 1 (one) Grand Prize, prizes, Participants must purchase any 250ml, 330ml & 1L Just Juice (“Participating Products”) from any participating store. Participants must retain their till slip and SMS their till slip number to 40508 (“Entry”). 

SMS’s cost R1.00 per SMS. Free SMS’s do not apply.

8. Participants must retain their till slip for the Duration of the Competition, as evidence of their Entry. Participants are not limited to the number of Participating Products they can purchase, in order to enter the Competition. 1 (one) SMS’d till Slip is equivalent to 1 (one) Entry for the duration of the Competition.

9. A Participant may:

9.2   An unlimited number of times for the Duration of the Competition;

provided that they purchase the Participating Products and follow the entry mechanics set out in paragraph 7 above each time. However, Participants are only eligible for 1 (one) Weekly Prize per week and 1 (one) Grand Prize under this Competition. Only 1 (one) Grand Prize winner per household is permitted.

10. The Promoter will conduct a random draw from all the Entries received to determine the winners in the following manner:

10.1      A weekly draw will take place during the promotional period in order to determine the “Weekly Prize Winners” (“Weekly Draws”);

10.2         6 (six) grand prize draws will take place during the Duration of the Competition, in order to determine the 6 (six) Grand Prize Winners (“Grand Prizes Draw). Grand Prize draws take place in the following manner:

10.2.1       2 (two) draws in the month of November 2017;

10.2.2       2 (two) draws in the month of December 2017; and

10.2.3       2 (two) draws in the month of January 2018.

11. In order for a particular Entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible winners and ensure that the qualifying criteria set out in paragraphs 2, 3, 7 and 8 above are met (“the verification process”).

12. The Promoter’s’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. Participants may not enter this Competition or qualify to be a winner if they have won a competition promoted by the Promoters within the past 6 (six) months.

14. Entries which are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism, or contain errors, or are unclear or illegible, or are received from Disqualified Participants will be declared invalid.

15. Participants whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed by the Promoter as valid after the verification process, will be notified via SMS, with a follow up telephone call to confirm their winning, after each Weekly Draw and after the Grand Prize Draw. Selected Participants will be declared a winner, and will be provided with details of how to claim their prize.

16. In the event that a winning entry for any of the prizes to this Competition belongs to a minor, their parent or legal guardian must accept and/or be present in order to claim their prize.

17. If the Promoter is unable to reach a Grand Prize Winner after 1 (one) week from the date of being declared a winner, or if a Grand Prize Winner is a minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a Grand Prize Winner fails the verification process after drawing his/her Entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and winner will take place.

18. Grand Prize winners will have 1 (one) month to redeem/accept their prize, from the date of being declared a winner.

20. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

21. No liability shall attach to the Promoter in relation to any claims, losses or liabilities for any loss of profit or any other direct and/or indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of any of the prizes.  The Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prizes. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to, the prizes will pass to you immediately.

22. Grand Prize Winners may be required to sign and agree to the Grand Prize and indemnity provided to them by the Promoter. Failure by the winner to do so may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Grand Prize in its entirety, without a claim against the Promoters or any third party/ies associated with the Competition.

23. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

24. All Participants and winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, it’s advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, partners, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter and/or use of the prizes).

25. The Promoter may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such a winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

26. The Promoter may require the winners to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their prizes or after having received their prizes. The Promoter may also use the uploaded images in whole or in part, and any reproductions thereof, worldwide for advertising, promotion, publicity or otherwise on any website for any media purpose and for any other lawful purpose whatsoever. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoter’s marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

27. By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.

28. By posting any content, experiences, images on any social media platform, in relation to this Competition and its associated promotional activities, Participants consent and give the Promotor a world-wide, royalty free and non-exclusive license, to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish any content posted and/or submitted by a Participant on a social media site, for the purposes of promoting the products and services of the Promotor.

29. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, or any other social media platform. Participants provide their information to the Promoters and not to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, or any other social media platform.

APPLETISER SUMMER PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES

1. This Promotional Competition (the “Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and/or their designated agencies (the “Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document. COCA-COLA SUMMER PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES

 

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and its agencies (the “Promoter”).

 

2. The Competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa, over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document. Should a Minor Participant be declared a Winner of the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian must comply with the Competition Rules, as if they were the winner. 

 

5. Minor will be required to be accompanied on the Trip Prize by their legal guardian or parent. In order to redeem the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian will be required to familiarize themselves and comply with the Immigration Regulations of 2014 (the “Regulations”). In terms of the Regulations, a parent or legal guardian travelling outside the borders of South Africa with a Minor, must meet certain requirements in order to travel internationally. The Competition is only valid within South Africa.  Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the first draw.

By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners, including a parent or legal guardian of a Minor Participant, agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision.  The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

9.2 1 (one) trip to any 1 (one) of the destinations shown on any Participating Product and included in Appendix A attached (“Trip Prize”), for you and 3 (three) travel partners (“Travel Partners”). 

 

10. The Trip Prize Winner and their Travel Partners must be available to travel together to their winning destination of choice between 1 February 2018 and 31 July 2018 (“Travel Dates”). Should the Winner be unavailable to take up the Trip Prize on the Travel Dates, provided and determined by Promoters, the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize.  In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

 

11. Should the Winner of a Trip Prize wish to make any changes in any way whatsoever, to the Trip Prize, other than what will be arranged by the Promoter, including Travel Dates and the number of Travel Partners, such costs, charges, expenses or any such adaptations or variations to the Trip Prize, will be on the Winner’s own account.  

 

12. To stand a chance of winning  a R5 (five rand) Airtime Vouchers and/or 1 (one) Trip Prize, Participants must purchase any Coke Original Taste, Coke Light, Coke Life, Coke Zero Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Stoney, in pack sizes  2L; 1.5L, 500ml; 440ml, 330ml and 300ml PET, or 440 ml, 330ml, and 200ml cans, (“Participating Product”). 

 

12.1. Participants must look under the cap liner or on the can tab for their 13 (thirteen) digit unique code (“Code”); 

 

12.2 Dial *120*2653# from a registered cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant or a Minor Participant’s parent or legal guardian; and

 

12.3 Follow the text prompts to complete their entry.

13. Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds (“USSD time-out”). If a Participant successfully enters their Code before the USSD time- out, their Entry will be considered valid.

 

14. All Winners will be determined by random selection.  

 

15. All Participants who send their Code in terms of Rule 12 above, irrespective of whether they have won an Airtime Voucher Prize, are eligible to stand a chance to win the Trip Prize. 

 

16. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Duration, provided they purchase a Participating Product for each Entry in terms of Rule 12 above and  complete all the Entry steps set out in Rule 12.1 to 12.3 above. 

 

17. Airtime Voucher Prizes Rules

 

17.1 Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize per Entry, across all Mobile Networks.

 

17.2 Where an Entry is randomly drawn as a Winner of 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize, the cellphone number used to enter the Competition, will be automatically loaded with the Airtime Voucher Prize. 

 

17.3 Due to the random nature of the draw, of the Airtime Voucher Prize distribution and the USSD time-out, it is possible that not all Airtime Voucher Prizes will be awarded.

 

 

18. Trip Prize Rules

 

18.1 Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Trip Prize, for the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners, to any 1 (one) of the destinations shown on the purchased Participating Product.  A list of the destinations is set out in Appendix A. A Participant can only win 1 (one) Trip Prize and only one Trip Prize per household is allowed. 

 

18.2 The Promoter will conduct a random, audited, weekly draw, from all the Entries received for the Duration. The Promoter will call the possible Winners and conduct a Competition verification process (“Verification Process”).

 

18.3 The Verification Process will consist of the following:

 

18.3.1 contacting the possible Winner and confirming the Winner, or in the case of a minor, parent or legal guardian, holds a valid South African Identity documents; and

 

18.3.2 the Winner will be required to fill in a Winner form and indemnity, which needs to be returned to the Promoter within 24 (twenty four) hours;

 

 

18.4 Travelling abroad:

 

18.4.1 Possible Winners and their Travel Partners stand a chance of spending up to 7 (seven) nights at their chosen destination.

 

18.4.2 In order to travel abroad, possible Winners may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partners valid passports (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process in terms of Rule 18.3 above. Should any Traveler not be in possession of a valid passport, possible Winner and their Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited their chosen Trip Prize and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1.  

 

18.4.3 Where applicable, the possible Winner and their Travel Partners’ passport must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the stipulated date of return from the Trip Prize destination, and must have 2 (two) blank/unstamped pages in the passport. 

 

18.4.4 Where the destination country requires that a visitors to be in possession of a valid visa, the Travelers must be eligible for a visa to that destination country of choice and are required to disclose upfront any possible reason for Embassy rejection.  For the avoidance of doubt, should a possible Winner and/or any of their Travel Partners be refused a visa to travel to their destination of choice, such possible Winner and their Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited that chosen Trip Prize, and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1.  

 

18.4.4 Clear passport copies must be emailed to the Promoter, to an e-mail address only provided by the Promoter, reflecting the photograph, name, passport number, date of issue and expiry date of the travelers. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification, and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1.  

 

18.4.6 Travelers must also comply with any other travel requirements for entry into a destination country, including any inoculations at the Promoter’s expense, failing which the possible Winner and/or Travel Partners will be deemed to have forfeited their chosen Trip Prize and the possible Winner may choose a Trip Prize to travel within South Africa, to any South African destination in Appendix 1 

 

18.5 Travelling within South Africa

 

18.5.1 Possible Winners and their Travel Partners stand a chance of spending 5 (five) nights at the chosen South African destinations.

 

18.5.2 Where the Trip Prize winning destination is within the borders of South Africa, the possible winner may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partners identification documents (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process in terms of Rule 18.3 above.

 

18.6 The Trip Prize is for the Winner and their 3 (three) Travel Partners only.  As noted above, should a Minor be declared a Winner, the Minor will be required to be accompanied on the Trip Prize by their parent or legal guardian, and 2 other Travel Partners. 

 

18.7 Participants, whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed as valid after the Verification Process, will be notified telephonically within 24 (twenty four) hours from receipt of valid documentation set out in Rules 18.4.2 and 18.5.2 above and after being declared a Winner. The validity of such documentation is at the Promoter’s discretion. 

 

18.8 The Winner, or in the case of a minor, their parent or legal guardian, and their Travel Partners will be required to sign the Promoter’s indemnity forms.  Should the Winner and/or Travel Partners refuse or fail to do so for any reason whatsoever, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize. In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

 

18.9 Travel, hotel reservations and events/excursions are subject to availability and may not be available on certain dates. Travel Dates may be varied and any or all amendments to Travel Dates will be at the Promoter’s discretion.

 

18.10 The Trip Prize includes travel costs to and from the chosen destination, including flight costs where applicable, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, hotel or bed and breakfast meals offered, and selected excursions, as determined by the Promoter.

 

18.11 No correspondence will be entered into as to the Promoter’s choice of airline, ticket class, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, all of which, including the length of stay, is at the Promoter’s discretion.  

 

18.12 The Promoter will not be responsible for any other expenses, which the Winner and their Travel Partners may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of the Trip Prize whether foreseen or not.  

 

18.13 Ancillary costs, including but not limited to, additional transport, additional meals outside of those paid by the Promoter, personal and incidental expenses, government taxes, management fees or other fees applicable are not the responsibility of the Promoter.  

 

18.14 The Promoter will cover the Winner and Travel Partners’ basic travel insurance, the level of cover will be determined at the Promoter’s sole discretion.  In the event that the Winner and/or Travel Partners wish to increase the level of insurance cover, this increase in cover will be at the Winner and/or Travel Partners’ sole cost and expense. 

 

18.15 The Promoter shall not be responsible for any changes, substitution, withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of any part of the itinerary beyond its reasonable control.  The Promoter is not obliged to award any other prizes in lieu if any such event or aspect of the trip is cancelled, postponed, substituted, withdrawn, changed or unavailable. 

 

18.16 All Prize Winners and their Travel Partners are obliged to behave responsibly at all times and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents.  In the event that the prize Winner and/or Travel Partners acts in any manner that brings The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoter, its affiliates and/or associated companies’ name into disrepute at any time (including but not limited to display or publicize any political slogans, child pornography, or use homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights), the Promoter or its agent shall, at its sole discretion and without any form of compensation to the Winner and their Travel Partners, and without limitation to any other claim the Promoter may have under law;  arrange for the Winner and their Travel Partners return to the Provinces of Residence in South Africa.

 

18.17 If the Promoter is unable to reach any Trip Prize Winner after 3 (three) day from the date of being declared a Winner, or if a Trip Winner is a Minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a Trip Prize Winner fails the verification process after their Entry is drawn for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and Winner will take place.

 

19. All the Competition Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Prizes.  The Promoter reserve the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

 

20. In addition to any other the verification requirements set out in these Rules, the Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification, as well as supply a copy of their valid Identity Document within 24 hours of being confirmed a Winner, to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Trip Prizes and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

 

21. The Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners and/or their Travel Partners to be identified and photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Trip Prize and/or after having received their Trip Prize.  The Winners and/or their Travel Partners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

 

22. Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only, and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

 

23. Competition entries are subject to the following conditions: 

 

  • All Entries from Disqualified Participants’ cell phone numbers will be rejected; 
  • All Entries from Minor Participants who have not obtained the express consent from their parent or legal guardian, will be rejected;
  • No computer based entries will be accepted; and
  • Any cell phone number that enters an incorrect Code 5 (five) times in succession will be locked out of the competition for the entire Duration of the Competition (“Blocked Participants”). Blocked Participants have an opportunity to call the COLONYHQ Call Centre on 087 231 0128 between 09h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday should there be a valid reason, which is acceptable by Promoter, for the Blocked Participants entering an incorrect Code five (5) times in succession. 

 

24. Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

 

25. All Participants and the Winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes.

 

26. By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participant via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities.  The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the Participant as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country.

 

27. By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose. 

 

28. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

1. This Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and Caltex South Africa (Pty) Ltd and/or their designated agencies (collectively ‘’Promoters’’).

2. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document (“Participant”), except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoters and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).

3. In the event that a person under the age of 18 years (“a minor”) enters the competition, he/she is required to obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter and qualify as a Participant of the Competition.

4. By entering the Competition, all Participants and winners agree to be bound by the rules that will be interpreted by the Promoters, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoters reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoters reasonably deem necessary.

5. The Competition commences on 1 November 2017 and ends 31 December 2017 both days inclusive.

6. The Participant stands a chance of winning daily a share of R250 000 (two hundred and fifty thousand Rand) wherein the winner can receive one of 50 (fifty) cash vouchers valued at R5 000 (five thousand Rand).

7. To stand a chance of winning, Participants are required to:

7.1. purchase any 2 (two) SSD 440ml, PADE 500ml or BAP 750ml Coca-Cola products, namely, Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Light, Coca-Cola Life, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Fanta, Stoney, BonaquaPump, Powerade, and Fuze Tea (“Participating Products”), from any participating FreshStop at Caltex stores during the Competition period; and

7.2. SMS the word “COCA-COLA” and the unique code found at the bottom of their tillslip to 48485.

8. Upon completing the entry process, the Participant will receive a SMS confirming entry into the draw. Each SMS sent by the Participant costs R1. Free SMSs and SMS bundles do not apply.

9. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish provided they purchase the Participating Products and follow the entry mechanics for every entry. However, in the event that the Participant returns the Participating Products purchased, the relevant entry will be deemed as invalid.

10. Entries that are unclear, illegible, submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism, contain errors or are from Disqualified Persons, will be declared invalid.

11. The Promoters will conduct a random draw daily from all the entries received and draw only 1 (one) winner daily.

12. Cash prizes will be awarded based on a daily winner draw which pulls randomly as follows:

12.1. The Participant with a winning unique code will, on the first working day after entry,

receive a telephone call on the cell number they provided when entering the

competition.

12.2. If the Participant cannot, for any reason, be telephonically reached after 3 attempts

within a period of 3 business days, the cash prize will be forfeited and another Participant will be selected in his/her place.

12.3. Thereafter, an SMS will be sent to the Winner wherein the Winner will be requested to

send the tillslip as proof of purchase of the Participating Products, and a copy of their

ID or valid passport for receipt of the Prize.

12.4. The tillslip and copy of ID or valid passport must be emailed to

callcentre@tccfusion.co.za or faxed to 086 733 8659 as advised in the SMS, within 48 hours of receiving the SMS.

12.5. Once all the requested documents have been received, the Winner will be contacted

on their cell number and requested to verify their details and make arrangements for receiving the Prize.

13. Once the Winner’s details have been validated, payment of the Prize will be made within 7 days.

14. The Winner will receive the payment of the Prize by way of FNB eWallet. The Prize will be paid in 2 (two) eWallet payments of R2500 (two thousand five hundred Rand) over 2 (two) days. Payment of the Prize is subject to the terms and mechanisms of the FNB eWallet platform.

16.  The Promoters may request the winners to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prizes and/or after having received their Prizes. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

17.  Competition entries are  subject to the following conditions:

  COMPETITION RULES

 

 

1. This Promotional Competition (“the Competition”) is organised by Peninsula Beverages Company (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”) franchise bottler of The Coca-Cola Company in the Western Cape.

 

2. The promotional competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 years (eighteen) in possession of a valid South African Identity Document (“Participant/s”).

 

3. Any person below the age of 18 (eighteen ) years of age (“minor”), is specifically excluded from this Promotional Competition and any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies, is disqualified  from participating in the Promotional Competition (collectively -“Disqualified Person/s”).

 

4. By entering the promotional competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules, which will be interpreted by the Promoter or the Promoter’s nominated administrators, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes/giveaways (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deem necessary and without any compensation whatsoever.

6. Participants must purchase any two (2) Appletiser (“Participating Products”) from the Pick n Pay BP Express participating outlets in Western Cape and they will receive one (1) Appletiser branded travel mirror (“the Giveaway”) with every purchase, WHILE STOCKS LAST.

 

7. The Giveaway is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Giveaway with any other Giveaway of comparable commercial value.

12. The Promoter will require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such winner will be deemed to have rejected the Giveaway and it shall revert to the Promoter.
