COMPETITION RULES

 

1.     This Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and TCC Fusion (Proprietary) Limited and their designated Partners as stipulated below under clause 20 (collectively ‘’Promoters’’).

2.     The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 16 years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document, except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoters and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).

3.     By entering the Competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoters, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoters reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoters reasonably deem necessary

4.     The Competition commences on Tuesday 1st August 2017 and ends on Wednesday 31st December 2017 and/or while promotional stocks is available of the Coca-Cola 1.25l (available nationally) and Coca-Cola 1.5l bottle (available in the Western Cape).

5.     Participants are guaranteed a reward on entry, provided that their unique code inside the Coca-Cola 1.25l Glass Bottle (Nationally) and Coca Cola 1.5l returnable PET bottle (Western Cape) promotional green caps or closure is valid. Participants can enter up to 3 times per day during the promotion and all entries over and above 3 entries per day, would need to be re-entered the next day to redeem a prize to a maximum of 21 entries per week.

6.     Participants will randomly receive one of the rewards based on the following set of rewards with each entry:

6.1.   Data & Free minutes from Vodacom at following denomination options:-

·         100MB

·         250MB

·         500MB

·         20 Minutes Free Talk Time

·         30 Minutes Free Talk Time

6.2.   R10 KFC Wi-Code

6.5.   R30 off a R100 spend at Jet / JetMart

6.6.   A 2D Ster-Kinekor Movie Ticket

All the above are subject to compliance with the terms and conditions which are relevant to each partner.

7.     To receive a guaranteed Reward, the consumer must purchase a 1.25litre Bottle or 1.5litre Returnable PET Coca-Cola product (including participating flavours), from any outlet stocking the promotional pack during the competition period. In order to participate, a participant will find the unique code under the Coca-Cola green promotional cap or closure and should then enter the competition in the following manner:

7.1.   USSD Line String *120*1075# at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 seconds  (free data bundles do not apply), OR;

7.2.   SMS the word: ‘Coke’ to 32111 at a cost of R1.00 per sms (free sms’ do not apply) and follow the MobiSite Link string to the E-rewards Site and begin reward redemption to receive either:

7.2.1. Vodacom data or airtime

7.2.2.  KFC R10 WI -Code

7.2.3. Debonairs Pizza R15 E-voucher

7.2.4. Shoprite/Checkers R10 E-voucher

7.2.5.  Jet/Jet Mart R30 off R100 spend voucher

8.     All the above is subject to compliance with these terms and conditions

9.     Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds. If a participant successfully enters their unique code before the session times out, their entry will be considered valid.

PLEASE NOTE: USSD Line cost is 20c per 20 seconds, Free Data bundles do not apply.

PLEASE NOTE: SMS cost is R1.00. Free SMS’s and SMS bundles do not apply.    

10.  Each consumer is limited to a maximum of 21 rewards per week, this being 3 entries per day. However, in the event that the participant returns the products purchased, the relevant automatic entry will become null and void.

11.  Participants will receive the redemption code from Coca-Cola E-Rewards at the end of the consumer journey and cannot change their chosen reward or exchange this reward for cash – the rewards are selected randomly and rewarded by a pre-determined algorhythm – should you choose not to use your reward, you are able to gift it to a friend or family member to use within the required redemption period

12.  Entries which are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism, contain errors or are from Disqualified Persons, as per rule 2) above, will be declared invalid

13.  The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoters are not liable for any defect in the Prizes. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these Competition rules, the Promoters’ decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into

14.  All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of gross negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters) and/or use of the Prizes.

15.  The Promoters may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoters to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prizes and it shall revert back to the Promoters.

16.  The Promoters may request the winners to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prizes and/or after having received their Prizes. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

17.  Competition entries are  subject to the following conditions:

·      All entries from Disqualified Participants’ cell phone numbers will be rejected;

·      No computer based entries will be accepted; and

·      Any cell phone number that is suspected of unlawful activity, Promoter reserves the right to block the number out of the competition. To verify if your cellphone number has been blocked out of the competition consumer can call the Coca-Cola Consumer care lines for reasons and dates that the number was blocked

20.  DESIGNATED PARTNERS

A. VODACOM

Terms and Conditions:

·         Free Airtime / Free Data/ Free SMS’s will be automatically loaded onto a Vodacom consumer mobile number

·         If the consumer is not on the Vodacom network, the consumer is to take down the details of the reward to then input using a Vodacom network mobile phone or the consumer can gift it to a family member or a friend who is on the Vodacom network

·         The validity dates of each reward is based on the reward and is mentioned during the reward delivery process

B. KFC

Terms and Conditions:

·         A reply SMS including the Wi-Code will be sent through to the consumers mobile number as a response to their valid entry

·         A winner may redeem his/her reward at any KFC outlet nationwide using their Wi-Code received on their reply SMS message

·         No change will be given on the R10 value sent per voucher

·         Please present this Wi-Code as payment towards your KFC purchases

·         This Wi-Code is valid for 30 days from time of receipt

C. DEBONAIRS PIZZA

Terms and Conditions:

·         A reply SMS including the E-Voucher will be sent through to the consumers mobile number as a response to their valid entry

·         Please present or read this E-Voucher number as payment towards your Debonairs Pizza purchase

·         No change will be given on the R15 value sent per voucher

·         This E-voucher is valid for 30 days from time of receipt

D. SHOPRITE/CHECKERS

Terms and Conditions:

·         The Wi-Code will not be valid unless the purchased items amount to R10 or more

·         Vouchers are valid in South Africa only

·         Please present this Wi-Code as payment towards your Shoprite/Checkers purchases

·         This Wi-Code is only exchangeable for merchandise and may not be refunded or redeemed for cash

·         Valid for 30 days from time of receipt

·         Consumer to input the code into POS when transacting at the till point

·         Consumer will not get change from the voucher

E. JET/JETMART

Terms and Conditions:

·         Consumer will receive this amount off any purchase of R100 or more

·         Vouchers are valid from 1st August 2017 to 31st January 2018

·         Vouchers are valid in South Africa only

·         Vouchers may not be used together with any promotion or special offer

·         Valid against regular priced merchandise only

·         Vouchers cannot be used to purchase airtime, data, gift cards or to pay your account

·         Physical or SMS vouchers must be produced in store to qualify

·         Only one voucher may be redeemed per transaction

·         Vouchers may only be redeemed once

·         No change will be given against any discount voucher

·         Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash equivalent

·         Vouchers may not be used on returned items

·         Vouchers are in English to facilitate ease of use at tills

STER-KINEKOR

Terms and Conditions:

·         Valid on 2D movies only

·         Code to be inputted into the Self Service Terminal at nearest Ster-Kinekor and entered as an E-

Voucher on checkout

·         Consumer will not get change from the voucher

·         Valid for 30 days from time of receipt

1.     This  Competition (“the Promotional Competition”) is organised by Coca Cola Africa (Pty) Ltd and the franchise Bottlers Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages Company (Pty) Ltd and Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (Pty) Ltd and/or their designated agencies ( “the Promoters’’).

2.     The Promotional Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document. Any person who is under the age of 18 years (“a minor”), must obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, in order to enter and qualify for the Promotional Competition.

3.      Any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoters and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies, may not take part in the Promotional Competition (“Disqualified Persons”).

4.     By entering the Promotional Competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules, which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoters reserve the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Promotional Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoters reasonably deem necessary.

5.     The Promotional Competition commences on 1 September 2017 and ends on 31 October 2017 both days inclusive.

6.     Participants stand a chance to win 1 (one) of 10 (ten) all–inclusive experiences with the South African Proteas Cricket team (“the Proteas”), which include 2 (two) VIP tickets to the opening day of 1 (one) Proteas International 2017/2018 Season Test match, on a date to be confirmed and published by the Promoter, to be held in either Gauteng, Kwazulu Natal, or the Western Cape, for you and a friend (“Prize”).

7.     To stand a chance of winning 1 (one) of the Prizes, participants must purchase any 500ml Powerade Ready to Drink or 750ml Powerade Ion4 Concentrate (“Participating Products”) from any participating store. The participant must retain their till slip and SMS the keyword “PROTEAS” and the last 4 digits of your barcode to 32671 (“entry”).

SMS’s cost R1.00 per SMS. Free SMS’s do not apply.

8.     The Promoters will conduct a random draw from all the entries received to determine possible winners on 6 November 2017 (“Draw Date”). In order for a particular entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoters will call the possible winners and ensure that the qualifying criteria set out in paragraphs 2 and 7 above are met (“the verification process”).

9.     Participants, whose entries have been drawn and have been confirmed as valid after the verification process, will be notified telephonically within 1 (one) week from Draw Date and declared a winner and be provided details on how to claim their prize.

10.  In the event that a winning entry belongs to a minor, their parent or legal guardian must accept and/or be present in order to claim their prize.

11.  Participants may enter this Promotional Competition as many times as they wish provided they purchase the Participating Products and follow the entry mechanics set out in paragraph 7 above each time. However, participants are only eligible for 1 (one) Prize under this Promotional Competition and only 1 (one) winner per household is entitled to win a Prize.

12.  Participants may not enter this Promotional Competition or qualify to be a winner if they have won a competition promoted by the Promoters within the past 6 (six) months.

13.  Entries which are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

14.  If the Promoters are unable to reach a winner after 1 (one) week from the date of being declared a winner, or if a winner is a minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if a winner fails the verification process after drawing his/her entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry and winner shall take.

15.  The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoters are not liable for any defect in the Prizes. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

16.  Winners will be required to sign and agree to the Prize and indemnity form provided to them by the Promoters. Failure by the winner to do so may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety, without any claim against the Promoters or any third party/ies associated with the Promotional Competition.

17.  Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

18.  All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Promotional Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes).

19.  The Promoters may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoters to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoters.

20.  The Promoters may require the winners to be identified, photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prize and/or after having received their Prize. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to this Promotional Competition.

21.  By entering this Promotional Competition, participants agree to receive further communications and marketing material from the Promoters, and their holding and subsidiary companies, provided that the participants may opt-out of receiving communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoters for such purpose.

The participant must then SMS the word Coca-Cola to 48446 and Upload their till slip to validate entry and receive their R20 KFC WICode to be redeemed at any participating KFC outlet nationally.

KFC WiCode

12Redeeming of Vouchers

12.1.1.1. A winner may not redeem more than 1 voucher per transaction per person per day.

12.1.1.2. A winner may redeem his/her reward until 15th September 2017 at any participating KFC outlets nationwide using their Wicode received on their reply SMS message

12.1.1.3. A reply SMS with their Wicode on will be sent through to consumers on the same day of purchasing and entering into the campaign

12.1.1.4. When load shedding is taking place in the selected outlet, the voucher cannot be redeemed and the winner must visit again when the outlet is up and running again.

13.  All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of gross negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters) and/or use of the Prizes.

The participant must then SMS the unique code found at the bottom of your till slip and Coca-Cola to 48446 in order to receive your Debonairs Pizza R20 E-Voucher.

Debonairs Pizza E-Voucher

11.   Terms and Conditions:

  • Vouchers redeemable against any online or in-store order placed at Debonairs Pizza restaurants in South Africa.
  • Any outstanding balance for orders placed online after the voucher has been applied must be settled via credit or hybrid debit card at the time of checkout.
  • Vouchers valid until 15 September 2017.
  • Vouchers not exchangeable for cash.

12.   Debonairs Pizza restaurants that don’t redeem E-Vouchers:

All Debonairs Pizza e-vouchers are redeemable online at www.debonairs pizza.co.za or via the Debonairs Pizza mobile App.

Debonairs Pizza e-vouchers are redeemable at the counters of select Debonairs Pizza restaurants.  The following Debonairs Pizza restaurants at Engen forecourts are unable to process e-vouchers at the counter:

  • Colesberg Engen Debonairs Pizza
  • Engen Nyala Debonairs Pizza
  • Engen Parktown Debonairs Pizza
  • Oranjezicht Express (Engen) Debonairs Pizza

Should you wish to redeem at any of the above 4 restaurants, the R20.00 E-Voucher can only be redeemed online. Please visit www.debonairspizza.co.za or download the Debonairs Pizza App to redeem.

Once the possible winners are notified, they will have 24 (twenty-four) hours to respond to the winner notification. If any possible winner fails to respond within 24 (twenty-four) hours, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner.
  2. In order for a particular entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible winners and conduct a Competition verification process.  The Participants, whose entries have been selected and have been confirmed as valid after the verification process, will be notified telephonically from the date that they have won and have been declared a winner.  The Promoter will advise the winners when they will receive their Prizes, which will be delivered to an agreed upon address.
  3. The Prize winners are obligated to behave responsibly and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents.

35. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash.  The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

36.  Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

37. All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, it’s advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, partners, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter and/or use of the prizes).

38. The Promoter may require the winners to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or appear on radio and television, when accepting their prizes or after having received their prizes. The winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoter’s marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition. The Promoter may use the uploaded images in whole or in part, and any reproductions thereof, worldwide for advertising, promotion, publicity or otherwise on any website for any media purpose and for any other lawful purpose whatsoever.

39. By entering the Competition, the participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities.  The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the participants as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country.

40. Winners of this Competition will be logged into a central database of social and digital prize winners which is administered by the Promoter. Winners of this Competition will be excluded from winning promoted Prizes offered by the Promoters, for a period of 6 (six) months after the draw date of this Competition. This applies to all social and digital Competitions carried out by the following brands – Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Glaceau Vitaminwater, Fuze Tea and Powerade.

41. The Promoter may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should a winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such a winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert to the Promoter.

Competition Terms & Conditions

1.     This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited (“Promoter”).

2.     Entry to the  “The Power to Beat Your Best” Powerade Competition is open to South African citizens who are 18 years or older and are currently either legally visiting or living in South Africa. Entrants may be any person except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Participants”).

3.     By entering the Competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules as interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right at any time without notice to amend, modify, or change these rules, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any Prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

4.     In addition, by entering all participants hereby opt in to receive competition communication and campaign content either via sms or email.

5.     The Competition commences on the 9th of March 2017 at 00h01 and ends on the 31st of August 2017 at 23h59, all days inclusive.

6.     Monthly prize winners must be 18 years or older (in each discipline category) and must be South African citizens in possession of a valid South African Identity Document or Birth Certificate who also reside in South Africa.

7.     The grand prize winner must be 18 years or older (in the running category) and must be South African citizens in possession of a valid South African Identity Document or Birth Certificate.

8.     Participants can register for either of the two discipline categories (running or road cycling/mountain biking) however they will only be eligible to win one monthly prize in total.

9.     Due to the cancellation of the Cape Town Cycle Tour and therefore the lack of opportunity for participants to submit a benchmark time, the cycling grand prize will no longer be awarded.

10.   A benchmark race time - Is the first official race time submitted to Powerade from either an ASA (Athletics South Africa) registered race / CSA (Cycling South Africa) registered race / Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverage’s activated races. Powerade will calculate the participant per kilometre speed based on these times.

11.   An improved race time -  Is any official race time submitted to Powerade from either an ASA (Athletics South Africa) registered race / CSA (Cycling South Africa) registered race / Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverage’s activated races where their per kilometre speed is faster than the time they submitted as their benchmark time or previous submission.

12.   Benchmark & Improved Time Submission – Participants register for the competition at either Cape Town Cycle Tour, Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon or various Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages activated races. Once registered participants will then receive an email from beatyourbest@coca-cola.com asking them to reply to the email with their race information so that their benchmark or improved time can be logged.

13.   Monthly Prizes

Entrants will be required to do the following to stand a chance to win monthly prizes:

      i.        Register at the Cape Town Cycle Tour, Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon or various Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages activated races during the competition period.

     ii.        To participate dial *120*32682# and follow the prompts. Cost of participation is 20c per 20 seconds. The USSD entry mechanic will be live until the end of May 2017 thereafter participants will have the option to enter via a manual entry form at selected races that Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages activates at.

    iii.        Participants will need to submit a benchmark race time to Powerade. This is only necessary if registration did not take place at the Powerade expo stand at the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon. Due to the fact that the Cape Town Cycle Tour was cancelled all those who registered at the expo will still be required to log a benchmark race time as their times were not captured at the Cape Town Cycle Tour as planned.

      i.        Thereafter, participants will need to submit their improved race time to Powerade via email to beatyourbest@coca-cola.com

14.   All entrants who register to The Power to Beat Your Competition and submit a benchmark race time and an improved race time will be eligible to stand the chance to win a monthly prize. 1 (one) monthly prize per discipline will be randomly awarded per month starting in the month of May, i.e. 1 (one) for cycling & 1 (one) for running.

15.   Monthly prizes will be selected via a random draw which will take place during the 1st week of each month. The decision is final and binding and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the decision.     

16.   Registered participants will only be eligible to win 1 (one) monthly prize for the duration of the competition.

17.   In the running category, a monthly prize winner will still be eligible to stand the chance to win the grand prize.  

18.   Running Grand Prize

Entrants will be required to do the following to stand a chance to win the running grand prize:

     ii.        Register at the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon and various Coca-Cola Penninsula Beverage’s activated races during the competition period.

    iii.        To participate dial *120*32682# and follow the prompts. Cost of participation is 20c per 20 seconds.The USSD entry mechanic will be live until the end of May 2018 thereafter participants will have the option to enter via a manual entry form at select races that Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages activates at.

19.   For a benchmark or improved race time to be classified as valid the below criteria need to be fulfilled:

      I.        Race times must be a result from a registered Athletics South Africa (ASA) / Cycling South Africa (CSA) or a race at which Coca-Colca Peninsula Beverages activate at which take place between the 9th of March and the 31st of August 2017.

     II.        In the case of road cycling, the race distance must be a minimum of 40 (forty) kilometres

    III.        In the case of mountain biking, the race distance must be a minimum of 30 (thirty) kilometers

    IV.        In the case of running, the race distance must be a minimum of 10 (ten) kilometres

20.   In the case of running, participants who continue to beat their best and submit more than 1 (one) valid improved race time will receive additional entries into the grand prize draw.

21.   All entrants who register and submit both their benchmark race time and a valid improved race time between the 9th of March 2017 and the 31st of August 2017 will be eligible to stand the chance of winning:

·  1 of 4 monthly prizes valued at up to R4500 each per discipline category (Running/Cycling)

·  1 of 1 grand prize in the running discipline category

Participants are only eligible to win a prize within the discipline category in which they have entered. An improved race time means an improvement on an entrant’s bench mark time.

22.   A grand prize will only be awarded in the running category. The winner will be selected via an audited random draw on the 4th of September 2017. The decision is final and binding and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the decision.

23.   In the running category all entrants who register and submit both their benchmark race time and improved race time will be eligible to stand a chance to win the grand prize as well as a monthly prize.

24.   In the cycling category all entrants who register and submit both their benchmark race time and improved race time will be eligible to stand a chance to win the monthly prize between May – August 2017.

25.   The Coca-Cola Company South Africa nor it’s agent companies will not be held responsible for participants not receiveing competition communication if the information given by participant is either unreadable, incomplete or invalid. 

26.   All winners (monthly & grand prize winners) will be notified via a telephonic call, email & SMS. They will have 24 (twenty four) hours to respond to the winner notification via email. If any possible winner fails to respond within 24 (twenty four) hours, the Promoter reserves the right to contact another winner.

McDonalds/Coke Zero sampling drive 2017 Terms & Conditions

1. This sampling drive is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited (the “Promoter”) and McDonalds restaurants (the “Partner”)

2. The promotional sampling is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 16 (sixteen) years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document except any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoters and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoters or the Partners, their advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to the Promoter or the Partner, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).

3. By participating in the promotional sampling drive, all participants agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this promotion.

4. By participating in the sampling drive the participants allow the Promoter to post their image online if the Promoter chooses to do so.

5. The promotional sampling drive is limited to participating restaurants only where the promotion is advertised and commences on 17 March 2017 and ends on 18 March 2017.

6. The mechanic of the promotional sampling drive is simple:  a consumer may enter a McDonalds restaurant and ask for a free sample of Coke Zero.  This this will be served in a 125ml cup from a soda fountain.  The consumer does not need to purchase anything from the restaurant in order to qualify and will not be charged for the sample.

7. Samples are limited to ONE per customer per day.

8.
