COMPETITIONS TERMS AND CONDITION

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and its agencies (“Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document or  valid South African driver’s license or a valid Passport with the endorsed residence permit (“Participant/s/Entrant/s”), except any minor below the age of 18 (eighteen) years (“Minor”), or  employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls, or is controlled by, the Promoter or Engen® and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by The Coca-Cola Company – or its  agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies and employees of Engen Petroleum Limited ®(“Engen”) (“Disqualified Persons”).

3. The Competition is only valid within South Africa.  Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a Winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the first draw.  

4. By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision.  The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

5. If the winner wishes to have a Minor/s accompany them on the Trip Prize, in order to redeem the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian of such Minor will be required to familiarize themselves and comply with the Immigration Regulations of 2014 (the “Regulations”). In terms of the Regulations, a parent or legal guardian travelling outside the borders of South Africa with a Minors must meet certain requirements in order to travel internationally. It is the responsibility of the parent and/or legal guardian to view and thereby acknowledge and understand the requirements set in the Regulations. 6. The Competition commences on 1 July 2019 and ends 31 August 2019 both days inclusive.

7. The prizes (“Prizes”) includes the following:

7.1.1 (one) x trip for 2 (two) to Zurich Switzerland for a Chocolate Experience (referred to as “the Chocolate Experience Prize” or “the Trip Prize”).

8. The Trip Prize Winner and their Travel Partner must be available to travel together to the Chocolate Experience Prize between 31 August 2019 – July 2020 (“Travel Dates”). Should the Winner be unavailable to take up the Trip Prize on the Travel Dates, provided and determined by Promoters, the Winner and their Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize. In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

9. Should the Winner of a Trip Prize wish to make any changes in any way whatsoever to the Trip Prize, other than what will be arranged by the Promoter, including Travel Dates and the number of Travel Partners, such costs, charges, expenses or any such adaptions or variations to the Trip prize, will be on the Winners own account.

10. To stand a chance of winning any of the Trip Prize listed in clause 8 (a), Participants must purchase any 2 (two), Powerade 500ml, Powerade 500ml Zero Sugar, Bonaqua Pump Still and Flavours, 440ml PET Full Sugar and 500ml DLZ (Light no sugar) (“Participating Products”) and any Engen garage;

10.1. Dial *120*2653# from a registered prepaid cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant; and

10.2. Follow the text prompts to complete their entry;

10.3. Retain their till slip as proof of purchase.

(hereinafter referred to as an “Entry”). One Entry per till slip number.

11. Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds (“USSD time-out”). If a Participant successfully enters their Code before the USSD time- out, their Entry will be considered valid.

12. All Prize Winners will be determined by random automatic selection draw on the following draw dates: The Prizes draw will take place on the by no later than the 15th of September 2019.

13. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Competition period, provided that Participants complete the Competition entry steps set out in Rule 10 above each time.

14. The winner will be determined by random selection.

15. All Participants complete steps in terms of Rule 11 above, are eligible to stand a chance to win the Trip Prize.

16. Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the Trip Prize for illustration purposes only, and might differ from the actual Trip Prize awarded.

17. CHOCOLATE EXPERIENCE PRIZE/TRIP PRIZE

17.1. Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Trip Prize, for the Winner and a Travel Partner, to any Zurich Switzerland for a Chocolate experience.

17.2. The Promoter will conduct a random, audited, at the end of the promotion, from all the Entries received for the Duration.

17.3. The Promoter will call the possible Winner and conduct a Competition verification process (“Verification Process”).

17.4. The Verification Process will consist of the following:

17.4.1. contacting the possible Winner and confirming the Winner and their Travel Partner hold a valid South African Identity document AND valid Passports ; and

17.4.2. the Winner will be required to fill in a Winner form and indemnity, which needs to be returned to the Promoter within 24 (twenty-four) hours.

17.5. TRAVELLING ABROAD:

17.5.1. In order to travel abroad, possible Winners may be required to submit copies of their and their Travel Partner valid passports (collectively “the Travelers”), after being declared a winner and after successfully completing the Verification Process in terms of Rule 18.4. above. Should any Traveller and/or their Travel Partner not be in possession of a valid passport, possible Winner and their Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited their Trip Prize.

17.5.2. The possible Winner and their Travel Partners’ passport must be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the stipulated date of return from the Trip Prize destination, and must have 2 (two) blank/unstamped pages in the passport.

17.5.3. Where the destination country requires that a visitor to be in possession of a valid visa, the Travelers must be eligible for a visa to the Trip Prize and are required to disclose upfront any possible reason for Embassy rejection. For the avoidance of doubt, should a possible Winner and/or any of their Travel Partner be refused a visa to travel to their destination of choice, such possible Winner and their Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited that chosen Trip Prize and a new winner will be declared.

17.5.4. Clear passport copies must be emailed to the Promoter, to an e-mail address only provided by the Promoter, reflecting the photograph, name, passport number, date of issue and expiry date of the travellers. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification.

17.5.5. Travelers must also comply with any other travel requirements for entry into a destination country, including any inoculations at the Promoter’s expense, failing which the possible Winner and/or Travel Partner will be deemed to have forfeited their Trip Prize

17.5.6. Participants, whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed as valid after the Verification Process, will be notified telephonically within 24 (twenty-four) hours from receipt of valid documentation set out in Rules 18.4.1 and 18.5.2 above and after being declared a Winner. The validity of such documentation is at the Promoter’s discretion.

17.5.7. The Winner and their Travel Partner will be required to sign the Promoter’s indemnity forms. Should the Winner and/or Travel Partner refuse or fail to do so for any reason whatsoever, the Winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Trip Prize. In such event the Trip Prize will revert back to the Promoter.

17.5.8. Travel, hotel reservations and events/excursions are subject to availability and may not be available on certain dates. Travel Dates may be varied and any or all amendments to Travel Dates will be at the promoter’s discretion.  

17.5.9. The Trip Prize includes travel costs to and from the chosen destination, including flight costs where applicable, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, hotel or bed and breakfast meals offered, and selected excursions, as determined by the Promoter.

17.6. No correspondence will be entered into as to the promoter’s choice of airline, ticket class, hotel or bed and breakfast accommodation, all of which inclining the length of stay is at the promoter’s discretion.

17.7. The Promoter will not be responsible for any other expenses, which the Winner and their Travel Partners may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or use of the Trip Prize whether foreseen or not.

17.8. Ancillary costs, including but not limited to, additional transport, additional meals outside of those paid by the Promoter, personal and incidental expenses, government taxes, management fees or other fees applicable are not the responsibility of the Promoter.

17.9. The Promoter will cover the Winner and Travel Partners’ basic travel insurance, the level of cover will be determined at the Promoter’s sole discretion. In the event that the Winner and/or Travel Partner wish to increase the level of insurance cover, this increase in cover will be at the Winner and/or Travel Partners’ sole cost and expense.

17.10. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any changes, substitution, withdrawal, cancellation or postponement of any part of the itinerary beyond its reasonable control. The Promoter is not obliged to award any other prizes in lieu if any such event or aspect of the trip is cancelled, postponed, substituted, withdrawn, changed or unavailable.

17.11. The Prize Winners and their Travel Partner are obliged to behave responsibly at all times and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents. In the event that the prize Winner and/or Travel Partner acts in any manner that brings The Coca-Cola Company, the Promoter, its affiliates and/or associated companies’ name into disrepute at any time (including but not limited to display or publicize any political slogans, child pornography, or use homophobic language, images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature, images containing logos of competitors and overt Brand sponsorship or anything else deemed to be ambush marketing, content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, offensive or otherwise unsuitable or infringes others’ rights), the Promoter or its agent shall, at its sole discretion and without any form of compensation to the Winner and their Travel Partners, and without limitation to any other claim the Promoter may have under law; arrange for the Winner and their Travel Partner’s’ return to the Provinces of Residence in South Africa.

17.12. If the Promoter is unable to reach any Trip Prize Winner after 3 (three) day from the date of being declared a Winner, or if a Trip Prize Winner fails the Verification process after their Entry is drawn for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and Winner will take place.

17.13. All the Competition Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and the Promoter is not liable for any defect in the Trip Prize. The Promoter reserve the right to substitute Trip Prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

18. In addition to any other the verification requirements set out in these Rules, the Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winner to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification, as well as supply a copy of their valid Identity Document within 24 hours of being confirmed a Winner, to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Trip Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

19. The Promoter may require the Trip Prize Winners and/or their Travel Partner to be identified and photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Trip Prize and/or after having received their Trip Prize. The Winners and/or their Travel Partner will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

20. Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only, and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

21. Competition entries are subject to the following conditions:

21.1. All Entries from Disqualified Participants’ cell phone numbers will be rejected;

21.2. No computer-based entries will be accepted; and

21.3. Any cell phone number that enters an incorrect Code 5 (five) times in succession will be locked out of the competition for the entire Duration of the Competition (“Blocked Participants”). Blocked Participants have an opportunity to call the COLONYHQ Call Centre on 087 231 0128 between 09h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday should there be a valid reason, which is acceptable by Promoter, for the Blocked Participants entering an incorrect Code five (5) times in succession.

23. Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

24.All Participants and the Winner, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes.

26. By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participant via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities. The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the Participant as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third-party service providers in any country.

27. By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.

28. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

 Powerade® - Fit Night Out Durban Online Competition Terms & Conditions

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and its designated agency/ies (“Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document, except any person below the age of 18 (eighteen), any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or Media24 Magazines and/or Media24 (Proprietary) Limited and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies, and/or Media24 Magazines and/or Media24 (Proprietary) Limited (“Disqualified Participants”).

3. By entering the Competition, all participants and the winner agree to be bound by these rules as interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right at any time, without notice, to amend, modify, or change these rules, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

4. The Competition commences on 12 June 2019 and ends on the 19 June 2019 all days inclusive.

5. The Participant stands a chance to be 1 (one) of 4 (four) winners who will receive 2 (two) tickets to participate in the Women’s Health Fit Night Out taking place on Saturday the 22nd of June at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

6. Participation in this Competition is restricted to residents of Kwa-Zulu Natal only.

 

 7. To enter, the Participant is required to - a. Comment on the Powerade social media posts on the Powerade Facebook and Instagram with what simple exercises you like to do at home and on the Twitter platforms with tagging a friend who deserves a fun fit night out.

 

 

8. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will short-list the valid entries.

 

9. Winners will be selected via an audited random draw before or on the 19 June 2019. The decision is final and binding and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the decision.

10. The winners will be notified via a a direct message on Facebook and Twitter with a subsequent follow up email to confirm their details.

11. Once the possible winners are notified via direct message on Facebook and Twitter, they will have 24 (twenty four) hours to respond to the winner notification. If any possible winner fails to respond within 24 (twenty four) hours, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner.

12. In order for the particular entries to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible winners and conduct a Competition verification process. Participants, whose entries have been selected and have been confirmed as valid after the verification process, will be notified on social media (direct message). The Promoter will then make contact with winners via email to request winners to complete the competition indemnity form and send back to the Promoter along with a copy of their Identity Document. Once the Promoter has received the necessary documentation the winners will be sent their tickets via email.

 13. Participants may enter the Competition subject to the following: a. No automated entries will be allowed and all entries must be made by a natural person manually on Facebook and Twitter.

 b. If any entry was made in a manner which in the Promoter’s discretion provides the participant with an unfair advantage over other entrants, such a Participant will be disqualified from this and all future competitions run by the Promoter.

 

 

14. Participants may enter this Competition as many times as they like provided they complete the entry mechanics set out above, each time. However, Participants are only eligible for 1 (one) Prize and 1 (one) Prize per household under this Competition.

15. Particpants may not enter this Competition or be declared a winner if they won a competition promoted by Promoters within the past 6 (six) months.

16. The Prize winners are obligated to behave responsibly and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents.

21.  22. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter. Participants voluntarily provide their information to the Promoters and not to Facebook or Twitter however the Participants are required to take note of the following: a. As this Competition requires Participants to comment/post anything in relation to the relevant Facebook and Twitter social platforns, Participants’ comments/posts must be original and written by them. For the purposes of these Rules, “comment/post” includes but is not limited to, any written material or visual or audio material such as an image, a photograph, a sound or visual clip. Participants may not use someone else’s post or work as their post. Participants may not comment/post material that is derogatory or harmful to the Promoter or the social platforms or any other person.

 b. Participants may not misuse the social media platforms, or the Powerade brand or Competition in any way. This includes posting content for commercial purposes or distributing spam or malicious code or using the site to collect the personal data or content of other users or direct visitors to other sites or pages.

 c. Posts must not contain any content that is normally prohibited on the relevant social platforms such as explicit or offensive content.

 d. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to decide if Participants actions constitute any of the actions prohibited in terms of these Rules and to end their participation in the competition immediately and take appropriate legal action. The Promoter may also immediately remove any posts that they reasonably believe constitute any prohibited content without notice to the Participant.

 e. Participants must comply with the terms & conditions and privacy policies of the social media platforms.

 f. The Promoter is not responsible for the social media platforms. The Promoter cannot control how they operate, when or if they are available, or what content they carry. Even though the Promoter runs the Competition on the site, the Promoter does not endorse the third party, its site, its products, or services or any content on the site. Participants use the site at their own risk. Participants must take all necessary measures to protect themselves and any minors, from risks, such as viruses and other destructive code.

 g. Participants must obtain at their own expense all equipment and services that are necessary to gain access to the social media platforms to take part in this Competition.

 h. The Promoter can put in place such technical or other remedies it considers appropriate to prevent abuse, or to protect any sites or our systems or other users.

 i. If any Participant does not comply with these Rules, their posts can be deleted and they will not be allowed to access the site or take part in the Competition.

 

 

23. By posting any content, experiences, images on any social media platform, in relation to this Competition and its associated promotional activities, Participants consent and give the Promoter a world-wide, royalty free and non-exclusive license, to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish any content posted and/or submitted by a Participant on a social media platform, for the purposes of promoting the products and services of the Promotor.

Powerade® Running Community 10km Challenge – June 2019

Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited (“Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document, except any person below the age of 18 (eighteen), any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Participants”).

3. By entering the Competition, all participants and the winner agree to be bound by these rules as interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. 5. The Competition takes place between 18 June 2019 and 28 June 2019. The Participants are required to complete one (1) run of a minimum of 10km (“the Challenge”). The Challenge will be measured against the Participant completing one (1) run of a minimum of 10km, and not against the time in which the Participant took to complete the Challenge run. Participants must complete the entry requirements set out in 8(a) – 8(e) prior to completing their Challenge run, then upload their running time as set out in clause 8(f) below before 12H00 on 28 June 2019.

6. All eligible Participants who take part in the Challenge run stand a chance to win one (1) of two (2) adidas vouchers to the value of R1000 each and a Powerade surprise (“Prize/s”). Prize is detailed in clause 7 below.

 7. The Prize consist of: a. 1 (one) of 2 (two) adidas vouchers to the value of R1000 = completing one (1) Challenge run of a minimum of 10km; and

 b. 1 (one) of 2 (two) Powerade® “surprises” = this will be added to the Prize mentioned in (a) above. This will be in the form of Powerade® product, ie: a 6 (six) pack of Powerade Zero or RTD or 1 (one) x ION4.

 

 8. In addition to the other eligibility requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions, to enter, the Participant is required to - a. Download the STRAVA app

 b. Create their profile

 c. Search for Powerade® Running Community in Clubs

 d. Join the Powerade Running Community

 e. Complete 1 (one) run of a minimum of 10km

 f. Upload their time to Strava

9. Participants cannot be considered as a winner unless they are a member of the Powerade® Running Community on STRAVA.

 

10. To be eligible to win the Prize, Particpants have to complete the 10km in 1 (one) run and cannot complete their 10km over a series of runs.

 

11. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will short-list the valid entries.

 

12. The winners will be selected via audited processes before or on 12H00 01 July 2019. The eligible Participants will be selected via an audited random draw. The decision is final and binding and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the decision.

13. The winners will be notified via a post on the Powerade® Running Community on STRAVA where winners’ names will be tagged and requested to send their name and number to poweraderunning@playmakers.co.za

14. The winner’s will have 24 (twenty four) hours to respond to the winner notification and send their email to the given email address. If any possible winner fails to respond within 24 (twenty four) hours, the Promoter reserves the right to draw another winner.

15. In order for the particular entries to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible winners after they have sent their name and number to poweraderunning@playmakers.co.za and conduct a Competition verification process.

16. The Promoter will then make contact with the winners via email post the verification process to request winners to complete the Competition Winner’s Indemnity form and send back to the Promoter by 12H00 midday on 03 July 2019 with a copy of their ID immeditately after being announced and verified as a winner.

17. Once the Promoter has received the necessary documentation and successfully completes the verification process, the Promoter will continue to get delivery details from the winner to ensure safe delivery of their Prize. Once the Promoter confirms the delivery date and time with the winner, it is the winner’s responsibilty to be available to accept the prize.

28. Participants warrant and declare, and hold the Promoters harmless against any claim regarding their physical state during pre , during or post their run and how it may affect their completion of the run. Participants voluntarily take part in the Challenge run and do so at their own risk.

 

 29. Participants voluntarily provide their information to the Promoters however the Participants are required to take note of the following: a. As this Competition requires Participants to upload their run to the STRAVA app, Participants’ running times must be original and earned by them.

 b. Participants may not misuse the platform, misuse or offend the Powerade® brand, the Promoter or this Competition in any way. This includes posting content for commercial purposes on their own profile or other social media platforms or distributing spam or malicious code or using the site to collect the personal data or content of other users or direct visitors to other sites or pages.

 c. Posts must not contain any content that is normally prohibited on the relevant social platforms such as explicit or offensive content.

 d. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to decide if Participants actions constitute any of the actions prohibited in terms of these Rules and to end their participation in the competition immediately and take appropriate legal action. The Promoter may also immediately remove any posts that they reasonably believe constitute any prohibited content without notice to the Participant.

 e. Participants must comply with the terms & conditions and privacy policies of the platform.

 f. The Promoter is not responsible for the STRAVA app. The Promoter cannot control how they operate, when or if they are available, or what content they carry. Even though the Promoter runs the Competition on the app, the Promoter does not endorse the third party, its site, its products, or services or

COMPETITION RULES for COCA-COLA® ENGEN® APRIL – MAY PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES 2019

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and its agencies (“Promoter”).

  16. Participants may enter this Competition as many times as they like provided they complete the entry mechanics set out above, each time. However, Participants are only eligible for 1 (one) Prize and 1 (one) Prize per household under this Competition.
  17.  Particpants may not enter this Competition or be declared a winner if they won a competition promoted by Promoters within the past 6 (six) months.
  18. The Prize winners are obligated to behave responsibly and comply with the Competition rules and all reasonable requests of the Promoter and its agents.
  19. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

  22. By entering the Competition, the participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, Bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities. The Promoter may also use the personal data collected from the participants as described in the Privacy Policy accessible at www.coca-cola.co.za and that such use may include transfers to the Promoter’s affiliates and third party service providers in any country.
  23. The Promoter may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such a winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.
  24. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter. Participants voluntarily provide their information to the Promoters and not to Facebook or Twitter however the Participants are required to take note of the following:                                                                                                                                                                                      a. As this Competition requires Participants to comment/post anything in relation to the relevant Facebook and Twitter social platforns, Participants’ comments/posts must be original and written by them.  For the purposes of these Rules, “comment/post” includes but is not limited to, any written material or visual or audio material such as an image, a photograph, a sound or visual clip. Participants may not use someone else’s post or work as their post. Participants may not comment/post material that is derogatory or harmful to the Promoter or the social platforms or any other person.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     b. Participants may not misuse the social media platforms, misuse or offend the Powerade brand, the Promoter or this Competition in any way. This includes posting content for commercial purposes or distributing spam or malicious code or using the site to collect the personal data or content of other users or direct visitors to other sites or pages.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                c. Posts must not contain any content that is normally prohibited on the relevant social platforms such as explicit or offensive content.                                                                                                               d. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to decide if Participants actions constitute any of the actions prohibited in terms of these Rules and to end their participation in the competition immediately and take appropriate legal action. The Promoter may also immediately remove any posts that they reasonably believe constitute any prohibited content without notice to the Participant.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    e. Participants must comply with the terms & conditions and privacy policies of the social media platforms.                                                                                                                                                     f. The Promoter is not responsible for the social media platforms. The Promoter cannot control how they operate, when or if they are available, or what content they carry. COMPETITION RULES

 

1. This Promotional Competition (the “Competition”) is organised by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and/or their designated agencies (the “Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to Participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document. Any person who is under the age of 18 (eighteen) years (“a minor”) must obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, in order to enter and qualify as a Participant for the Competition (together referred to as “Participants/Entrants”).

3. Any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies are not allowed to enter the Competition (“Disqualified Participants”).

4. By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners, including a parent or legal guardian of a minor Participant, agree to be bound by these rules as interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right at any time without notice to amend, modify, or change these rules, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

5. The Competition commences on 15 November 2018 and ends on 28 February 2019, both days inclusive (“the Duration”).

6. Participants stand a chance to win 1 (one) of 200 (two hundred) weekly prize boxes to the value of R4000 (four thousand rand) each (“the Prize”). 8. Participants must retain their till slip and SMS their till slip number to 33117 (“Entry/ies”). SMS’s cost R1.00 per SMS. Free SMS’s do not apply.

9. Participants must retain their till slip for the Duration of the Competition, as evidence of their Entry. Participants are not limited to the number of Participating Products they can purchase, in order to enter the Competition. 1 (one) SMS’d till Slip is equivalent to 1 (one) Entry for the Duration of the Competition.

9.1  All finalists will be required to provide their original till slip for their purchase, dated and timed before their entry date and time, as proof of purchase for the qualifying products upon receiving a phone call to announce that they are a finalist. Should the finalist not be able to provide a scan or photograph of the original slip to the Promoter on request, they will be disqualified. The slip is not to be written on or tampered with in anyway.

10 A Participant may:

10.1  SMS each of his/her Entries;

10.2  5 (five) times within a 24 (twenty-four) period, for the duration of the Competition; provided that they purchase the Participating Products and follow the entry mechanics set out in paragraph 8 and 9 above each time. However, Participants are only eligible for 1 (one) weekly Prize per week. And only 1 (one) weekly winner per household is allowed.

11. The Promoter will conduct a random draw from all the Entries received to determine the Winners in the following manner:

11.1 A weekly draw will take place during the duration in order to determine the “Weekly Prize Box Winners” (“Weekly Draws”)

11.2 200 (two hundred) Prize draws will take place during the duration of the Competition.

12. In order for a particular Entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible Winners and ensure that the qualifying criteria set out in paragraphs 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 above are met (“the verification process”).

13. The Promoter’s’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. Participants may not enter this Competition or qualify to be a Winner if they have won a competition promoted by the Promoters within the 12 (twelve) months.

15. Entries that are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism, or contain errors, or are unclear or illegible, or are received from Disqualified Participants will be declared invalid.

16. Participants whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed by the Promoter as valid after the verification process, will be notified via SMS, with a follow up telephone call to confirm their winning, after each Weekly Draw. Selected Participants will be declared a Winner, and will be provided with details of how their Prize will be delivered to them.

17. In the event that a winning Entry for any of the Prizes to this Competition belongs to a minor, their parent or legal guardian must accept and/or be present in order to claim their Prize.

18. If the Promoter is unable to reach a Winner after 1 (one) week from the date of being declared a Winner, or if Winner is a minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if Winner fails the verification process after drawing his/her Entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and winner will take place.

19. All prize finalists will first be notified via telephone. In the event that a finalist is not contactable for 3 (three) consecutive days (3 contact attempts) then such finalist will forfeit their prize and another finalist will be randomly selected and the same process as described herein will be followed. The winners of the Prizes must have all required documentation (including Tillslip/proof of purchase) and will be required to complete a Winners Form in order to claim their prize. 

20. The Prize will be couriered to the Winner’s chosen’s physical address within South Africa within 14(fourteen) working days from being declared a Winner.

21. The Promoter will attempt to deliver the Prize to the Winner twice, and if the delivery fails, the Prize will be returned to the Promoter and the Winner will need to arrange for collection at their own cost within 5 (five) working days. If the Winner fails to collect the Prize at their own cost, or fails to personally take delivery of the Prize in terms of the rule above, the Winner will then forfeit the Prize and the Promotor will have the discretion to select another finalist.

22. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

23. No liability will be attached to the Promoter in relation to any claims, losses or liabilities for any loss of profit or any other direct and/or indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of any of the Prizes.  The Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prizes. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to, the Prizes will pass to you immediately.

24. Winners may be required to sign and agree to an indemnity form provided to them by the Promoter. Failure by the winner to do so may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety, without a claim against the Promoters or any third party/ies associated with the Competition.

24.1 All finalists will be required to fill in a Winner form and indemnity, and provide to the Promoter only, certified copies of their  South African Identity Document and/or Driver’s license for verification reasons, which needs to be returned to the Promoter within 24 (twenty-four) hours. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification.

COMPETITION RULES for COCA-COLA® ENGEN POWERADE PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION  2019

 

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited and its agencies (“Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document or  valid South African driver’s license or a valid Passport with the endorsed residence permit (“Participant/s/Entrant/s”), except any minor, employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls, or is controlled by, the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by The Coca-Cola Company – or its  agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies (“Disqualified Persons”).

3. The Competition is only valid within South Africa.  Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a Winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions as the first draw.  

4. By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision.  The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

5. The Competition commences on 1 January 2019 and ends on 28 February 2019 both days inclusive.

6. The prizes (“Prize/s”) includes the following:

a. 1 (one) of 20 (twenty) Vvirgin Aactive gym memberships to the value of R12 000 (twelve thousand rand) each.

7. To stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Prize listed in clause 6a Participants, must purchase any 2 (two) 500ml Powerade (“Participating Product”). Participants must:

a. Dial *120*62800# from a registered prepaid cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant; and

b. Follow the text prompts to complete their entry; and

c. Retain their till slip as proof of purchase.

(hereinafter referred to as an “Entry”). One entry per till slip number.

8. Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds (“USSD time-out”). If a Participant successfully enters their Code before the USSD time- out, their Entry will be considered valid.

9. All Prize Winners will be determined by random automatic selection draw. The Prizes draw will take place on the by no later than the 31 of March 2019.

10. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Competition period, provided that Participants complete the Competition entry steps set out in Rule 7 above and complete the Entry steps set out in Rules 7a to 7c each time.

11. GYM MEMBERSHIP PRIZES

a. Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Prize per household.

b. The Promoter will call the possible finalists on the cellphone number used to enter the Competition.  The possible finalist will be called once a day for 3 (three) days and if the Promoter is not able to contact the possible finalist during this time, the Promoter will move onto the next possible finalist.

c. The possible finalist will need to be verified and provide the Promoter only, with a certified copy of their South African ID/Driver’s License or valid Passport with their endorsed residences permit and complete a finalist form. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification. The requested documents need to be sent within 24 (twenty-four) hours if not done the finalist will be disqualified and the Promoter will move onto the next possible finalist.

d. If the possible finalists pass the verification process and submits the required documents stipulated in rule 11c above, they will be declared a Winner by the Promoter. The validity of such documentation is at the Promoter’s discretion.

e. Once the finalist has been confirmed as a Winner, the Promoter will contact the Winner to determine the following;

   i. The winner will choose a Vvirgin Aactive gym club of their choice.

   ii. If there is no Vvirgin Aactive gym accessible to the winner they may choose another fitness gym to join and the prize money will be allocated to the membership fees for his/her chosen fitness gym club.

   iii. The winner will have 5 (five) working days from the day of confirmation as a Winner to go into the gym club and sign the required documentation. If the Winner fails to do so within the 5 (five) working days, they will be disqualified and the Promoter will contact the next finalist.

f. The full value of the Prize will be allocated towards the Winner’s gym membership and contract type to that value.

g. The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other requested prize. The prize is not transferable.

h. All Prizes are awarded at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right, at its own discretion, to substitute a Prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value or an appropriate replacement value in the place of the Prize.

i. No liability shall attach to the Promoter in relation to any claims, losses or liabilities for any loss of profit or any other direct and/or indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of any of the Prize. The Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prizes. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to, the Prizes will pass to the Winner immediately upon delivery.

j. If the Winner is deemed by the gym club to be physically or medically unfit or for whatever reason not able to qualify for a gym contract, the Winner’s Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will contact the next finalist.

k. The Promoter will in no way be associated with the Winner’s use of their gym club of choice, the Winner’s obligations in terms of the gym contract. The Winner hereby indemnifies the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to Coca Cola Africa (Propriety) Limited, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all risks, damages, losses or claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their gym membership/contract or use of the gym, whether for personal injury, death and any damage to and/or loss of property, including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the gym club of choice and/or their use of the gym club.

12. In addition to any other the verification requirements set out in these Rules, the Promoter may require the Prize Winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification, as well as supply a copy of their valid South African ID or valid Passport with the endorsed residence permit within 24 (twenty-four) hours of being confirmed a Winner, to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prizes and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

13. The Promoter may require the Winners to be identified and photographed and the photographs published in printed media, or to appear on radio and television, when accepting their Prizes and/or after having received their Prizes.  The Winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

14.  Point of sale material is used to represent the Prizes for promotional illustrative purposes, and might differ from the actual Prizes awarded.

15. Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

8. Participants must retain their till slip and SMS their till slip number to 33117 (“Entry/ies”). SMS’s cost R1.00 per SMS. Free SMS’s do not apply.

 

 

9. Participants must retain their till slip for the Duration of the Competition, as evidence of their Entry. Participants are not limited to the number of Participating Products they can purchase, in order to enter the Competition. 1 (one) SMS’d till Slip is equivalent to 1 (one) Entry for the Duration of the Competition.

 

 

9.1  All finalists will be required to provide their original till slip for their purchase, dated and timed before their entry date and time, as proof of purchase for the qualifying products upon receiving a phone call to announce that they are a finalist. Should the finalist not be able to provide a scan or photograph of the original slip to the Promoter on request, they will be disqualified. The slip is not to be written on or tampered with in anyway.

 

10 A Participant may:

 

10.1  SMS each of his/her Entries;

10.2  5 (five) times within a 24 (twenty-four) period, for the duration of the Competition;

 

provided that they purchase the Participating Products and follow the entry mechanics set out in paragraph 8 and 9 above each time. However, Participants are only eligible for 1 (one) weekly Prize per week. And only 1 (one) weekly winner per household is allowed.

 

11. The Promoter will conduct a random draw from all the Entries received to determine the Winners in the following manner:

 

11.1 A weekly draw will take place during the duration in order to determine the “Weekly Prize Box Winners” (“Weekly Draws”)

 

           11.2      200 (two hundred) Prize draws will take place during the duration of the Competition.

 

12. In order for a particular Entry to be confirmed as valid, the Promoter will call the possible Winners and ensure that the qualifying criteria set out in paragraphs 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 above are met (“the verification process”).

 

13. The Promoter’s’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

14. Participants may not enter this Competition or qualify to be a Winner if they have won a competition promoted by the Promoters within the 12 (twelve) months.

 

15. Entries that are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism, or contain errors, or are unclear or illegible, or are received from Disqualified Participants will be declared invalid.

 

16. Participants whose Entries have been drawn and have been confirmed by the Promoter as valid after the verification process, will be notified via SMS, with a follow up telephone call to confirm their winning, after each Weekly Draw. Selected Participants will be declared a Winner, and will be provided with details of how their Prize will be delivered to them.

 

17. In the event that a winning Entry for any of the Prizes to this Competition belongs to a minor, their parent or legal guardian must accept and/or be present in order to claim their Prize.

18. If the Promoter is unable to reach a Winner after 1 (one) week from the date of being declared a Winner, or if Winner is a minor who did not obtain their parent or legal guardian’s consent, or if Winner fails the verification process after drawing his/her Entry for whatsoever reason, such person will be disqualified and a draw for a replacement Entry and winner will take place.

 

 

 

19. All prize finalists will first be notified via telephone. In the event that a finalist is not contactable for 3 (three) consecutive days (3 contact attempts) then such finalist will forfeit their prize and another finalist will be randomly selected and the same process as described herein will be followed. The winners of the Prizes must have all required documentation (including Tillslip/proof of purchase) and will be required to complete a Winners Form in order to claim their prize. 

 

20.        The Prize will be couriered to the Winner’s chosen’s physical address within South Africa within 14    

             (fourteen) working days from being declared a Winner.

 

 

21.        The Promoter will attempt to deliver the Prize to the Winner twice, and if the delivery fails, the

              Prize will be returned to the Promoter and the Winner will need to arrange for collection at their own

              cost within 5 (five) working days. If the Winner fails to collect the Prize at their own cost, or fails to

              personally take delivery of the Prize in terms of the rule above, the Winner will then forfeit the Prize  

              and the Promotor will have the discretion to select another finalist.

 

22. The Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

 

23. No liability will be attached to the Promoter in relation to any claims, losses or liabilities for any loss of profit or any other direct and/or indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of any of the Prizes.  The Promoter is not liable for any defects in the Prizes. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to, the Prizes will pass to you immediately.

 

 

24. Winners may be required to sign and agree to an indemnity form provided to them by the Promoter. Failure by the winner to do so may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety, without a claim against the Promoters or any third party/ies associated with the Competition.

 

 

24.1 All finalists will be required to fill in a Winner form and indemnity, and provide to the Promoter only, certified copies of their  South African Identity Document and/or Driver’s license for verification reasons, which needs to be returned to the Promoter within 24 (twenty-four) hours. Blurred or obscured copies will result in disqualification.

 

25. Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of the Competition rules, the Promoter’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.

 

26. All Participants and Winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, it’s advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, partners, suppliers and bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoter and/or use of the Prizes).

27. The Promoter may require the Winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoter to ensure compliance with these Rules and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such a winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.

28. The Promoter may require the Winners to be identified, photographed and published in printed media, or to appear on radio and social, when accepting their prizes or after having received their Prizes. The Promoter may also use the uploaded images in whole or in part, and any reproductions thereof, worldwide for advertising, promotion, publicity or otherwise on any website for any media purpose and for any other lawful purpose whatsoever. The Winners will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their images and to participate in the Promoter’s marketing material in so far as it relates to the Competition.

29. By entering the Competition, the Participants agree that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, agencies, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participants via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.

COCA-COLA® SUMMER 2018 PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION RULES

1. This Promotional Competition (“Competition”) is organized by Coca-Cola Africa (Proprietary) Limited, and its agencies (the “Promoter”).

2. The Competition is open to participants who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa, over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and a valid South African passport. Any person who is under the age of 18 (eighteen) years (“a Minor”) must obtain their parent or legal guardian’s express consent, in order to enter and qualify as a participant of the Competition (together referred to as “Participant/s/Entrant/s”).

3. Any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or any person, directly or indirectly, who controls or is controlled by the Promoter and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person, indirectly or directly, in control or controlled by the Promoter, its advertising agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies, is disqualified from participating in this Competition. (“Disqualified Participants”).

4. Participants who are Minors, must have obtained the prior express consent of their parent and/or legal guardian, and the parent and/or legal guardian must have read and accepted these Rules, prior to the Minor participating in the Competition. Should a Minor Participant be declared a Winner of the Trip Prize, the parent or legal guardian must comply with the Competition Rules, as if they were the winner.

5. The Competition is only valid within South Africa. Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and the draw of a replacement entry shall take place under the same terms and conditions.

6. By entering the Competition, all Participants and Winners, including a parent or legal guardian of a Minor Participant, agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter or the Promoter’s nominated administrator, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.

7. The Competition commences on 1 November 2018 and ends on 31 January 2019, both days inclusive (the “Duration”).

8.  Participants stand a chance of winning the following prizes:

8.1 R5 (five rand) airtime vouchers (“Airtime Voucher Prize/s”), for pre-paid cellular account holders only. The total value of the R5 airtime vouchers on offer is R9 889 065 (nine million eight hundred and eighty nine thousand and sixty five rand).

9. To stand a chance of winning a R5 Airtime Voucher Prize, Participants must purchase any Coke Original Taste, Coke Light, Coke Life, Coke Zero Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Stoney, in pack sizes 2L; 1.5L, 500ml; 440ml, 330ml and 300ml PET, or 440 ml, 400ml, 330ml, 300ml and 200ml cans, 1.25L returnable glass bottle, any Powerade RTD or Powerade Zero (“Participating Product”).

9.1 Participants must look under the yellow can tab or yellow cap liner for their 13 (thirteen) or 14 (fourteen) digit unique code (“Code”);

9.2 Dial *120*2653# from a registered cellphone number at a cost of 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. For clarity, a registered cellphone number is one that has been 

RICA’d and registered in the name of a Participant or a Minor Participant’s parent or legal guardian; and

9.3 Follow the text prompts to complete their entry;

 (hereinafter referred to as an “Entry/ies”).

10. Due to network restrictions, USSD sessions time-out after 120 (one hundred and twenty) seconds (“USSD time-out”). If a Participant successfully enters their Code before the USSD time- out, their Entry will be considered valid.

11. All Winners of Airtime Voucher Prize/s will be determined by random automatic selection between 1 November 2018 and 31 January 2019.

12. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Duration, provided they purchase a Participating Product for each Entry in terms of Rule 9 above and complete all the Entry steps set out in Rule 9.1 to 9.3 above.

13. Airtime Voucher Prizes Rules

13.1 Participants stand a chance of winning 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize across all Mobile Networks per Entry, as required in rule 9 above.

13.2 Where an Entry is randomly drawn as a Winner of 1 (one) Airtime Voucher Prize, the cellphone number used to enter the Competition, will be automatically loaded with the Airtime Voucher Prize.

13.3 Due to the random nature of the draw, of the Airtime Voucher Prize distribution and the USSD time-out, it is possible that not all Airtime Voucher Prizes will be awarded.

14. All Competition Prizes are neither transferable nor redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute Prizes with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

15. Prize images on the Point of Sale promotional material are used to represent the prizes for illustration purposes only and might differ from the actual prizes awarded.

16. Competition entries are subject to the following conditions:

· All Entries from Disqualified Participants’ cell phone numbers will be rejected;

· All Entries from Minor Participants who have not obtained the express consent from their parent or legal guardian, will be rejected;

· No computer-based entries will be accepted; and

· Any cell phone number that enters an incorrect Code 5 (five) times in succession will be locked out of the Competition for the entire Duration of the Competition (“Blocked Participants”). Blocked Participants have an opportunity to call the COLONYHQ Call Centre on 087 231 0128 between 09h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday should there be a valid reason, which is acceptable by Promoter, for the Blocked Participants entering an incorrect Code five (5) times in succession.

17. Entries that are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or from Disqualified Persons will be declared invalid.

18. All Participants and the Winners, as the case may be, indemnify the Promoter, their advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to The Coca-Cola Company, its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this competition including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes.

19. By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees that The Coca-Cola Company and its affiliates (including the Promoter, subsidiaries, bottlers, and joint ventures) may contact the Participant via email and through social media platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities. provided that the Participants are given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving marketing communication at any time via the appropriate opt-out mechanisms provided by the Promoter for such purpose.
